*Shockwave appears on screen, the transmetal piece on his chest is completely gone, and is seen with his office. He speaks in a calm voice as his optic flashes.*
Decepticons, I am pleased to inform you that the deaths of Jhiaxus and myself were avoided. I was contacted by the Hellpits' Warlord, about some 'insults' I have given him about his warriors code. Such was not, and soon a small battle took place, and Jhiaxus as heavily damaged while I was defending myself from his onslaught. This was not in any intent to kill him, but to prevent, him from causing his fate. Mono, was able to use a logically sound strategy and placed a forcefield in between the two of us. I was able to use this time to play the message, that was given to me once he had calmed down to an extent. Once, the recording the Autobot Mainframe made was played, the duel was stopped. After a converstation, I decided it was best to grant him his mission to leave Cybertron. It is sound and reasonable, that he begins to colonize and spread the words of the Empire to others, to ensure our survival. Jhiaxus, should you get this report, I wish you and your crew a safe voyage, and hope you succeed in your endevors. Once, my mission is completed, then I will see to joining you in the void of space, but as of now I am required here. Decepticons, he is not to be hasseled, for his choice. He is not a traitor, but one who seeks to aid the Decepticon Empire, in a manner, that yet seemingly experimental and to some ubsurd. Should I become informed, that our allies are harrassed in their final stay on Cybertron I will make sure, you are disposed of in the Mining areas. Glory to The Empire, Cybertron, and any future colonys, Shockwave out
*Shockwave looms into the recorder for a little while. Soon he reaches over and shuts it off, as the screen fades to black to be replaced with the Decepticon Sigil.*

Warlord's Quarters

The massive stone walls and high ceiling of this windowless room make it seem appropriate only for someone of great size and power. There's still an air of barbaric splendor to the surroundings, enhanced by the huge firepit along one wall that radiates light and heat - and the decapitated head of the former territorial ruler is still staked to the wall above the fire - but the room is trashed. The heavy bladed weapons and spiked warclubs that once hung on display on the walls, have been forcibly ripped from their posts and lie scattered about the floor, some broken; great gouges are torn into the stone walls; text cartridges lie flung haphazardly over the floor. Most tragic of all, the breathtaking mosaic of chipped glass that hung opposite the fire, is shattered into a thousand multicolored pieces, glimmering softly in the dancing light. It was once a great work of art ... if only someone would take the time and care to glue the pieces back together again.

<Decepticon> Rook says, "Attention Decepticons. This is a last invitation to join Commander Jhiaxus on our trip to the stars. Come to Hellpit Fortress."

<Decepticon> Rook says, "And of course if anyone just wants to see us off, please come and do so."

<Decepticon> Pilfer says, "Sir, I think we will be going with you."

<Decepticon> Rook says, "Excellent."

Rook transmits: 'Seems we will be having passengers.'.

Jhiaxus transmits 'You are sending out a last invitation? Good, you can direct those toward Hellpit who still wish to join us. I will leave it to you to coordinate the new arrivals while I complete a last inspection.' to Rook.

You head out into the corridor toward the center of the fortress.

Entrance Hall

The massive gray stonework of the walls and the high arched ceiling make this room seem armored somehow, yet empty; a chilling cold creeps up out of the mountainside, into the stone floor, and into the joints of anyone who passes through. Numerous corridors are swallowed up by the shadows to the east and west, leading presumably to troop barracks or other necessary cubicles. In a tradition that dated back millennia, rows of motionless, highly-polished sentries once stood guard to both sides of the two sealed doorways, one leading to the slave mines, the other to the ruler's throne room. Though the guards are gone now, the only splash of color that remains in the stark cold gray of this chamber is the obligatory Decepticon emblem, a purple banner that trails nearly from the ceiling to the floor along one wall, and is emblazoned with a silver Decepticon symbol.

Interceptor transmits: 'Where should we go to see your farewell flight..'.

Rook transmits: 'I've done a last invitation. Never hurts to ask one last time.'.

<Decepticon> Shockwave says, "Ghost, status report."

<Decepticon> Heavy Shuttle says, "Lord Shockwave, I must speak with you"

<Decepticon> Interceptor says, "Questioning Corsair and about to see Jhiaxus and crew off."

<Decepticon> Shockwave says, "I will be seeing Jhiaxus off as well."

<Decepticon> Heavy Shuttle says, "meet me at the Launch Pad, sir"

<Decepticon> Shockwave says, "Corsair, report to Jhiaxus' location. I do not need to hear of your questions, and wasteful venture."

Jhiaxus transmits '(sounds a bit surprised at the intention to watch us leave) If you truly wish to watch the departure, you can wait below my fortress. The emergence of the 'Twilight' should be somewhat ... impressive.' to Interceptor.

Interceptor transmits: 'I was wondering how you were going to get that beautiful ship out... *sigh* tis my duty to Megatron.. such that it be to see your ship off and make sure the reports remain true'.

Rook transmits: 'Seems we will be having Shockwave and others seeing us off.'.

<Decepticon> Space Cannon says, "Ghost, your location."

<Decepticon> Ghost says, "Hellpits.."

<Decepticon> Space Cannon says, "I shall be arriving shortly."

The heavy double doors swing outward with a slight groan, letting you pass into the throne room.

Throne Room

An ever-shifting pattern of deep shadow and red light makes the size of this room indeterminate. Illumination is provided by rows of flickering, smoking torches that line the outside walls, below which once stood the silent, polished sentries, heavily armed and motionless while the firelight played over their armor. A great circular pit takes up much of the floorspace, its smooth walls ending far below in a bubbling pool of white-hot molten metal. Bits and pieces of robotic limbs and armor can still be seen floating in the mixture, which gives off enough heat to warm the entire room. Rising on a pillar of darkness above the smelting pit, a steep staircase leads up to a platform dominated by a massive throne. To each side is a smaller seat for a guest or advisor. A retractable walkway stretches across the smelting pit; those who would approach the ruler of Hellpit Territory, must cross above the scalding pit of death in order to stand in his presence.

Jhiaxus transmits 'So I am finding out. Very well then. Invite them to remain at the base of the fortress -- not too close to the cliffside.' to Rook.

Rook transmits: 'Done, Commander.'.

Jhiaxus transmits 'You will find the ship can make its own exits.' to Ghost.

Ghost transmits: 'Ahh. If only I had been able to see more..'.

Rook transmits: 'Seems Skyflight wishes to speak to you alone one last time.'.

Jhiaxus transmits 'Is that so? ... Very well. Tell him to meet me on the defense platform.' to Rook.

The heavy double doors swing outward with a slight groan, letting you pass into the entrance hall.

You climb the dark spiral staircase and push up on a heavy trapdoor at the top.

Defense Platform

This is essentially the roof of the Fortress, and is open to the sky, but a high, thick wall of black stone rings the platform, where rows of cannons loom over the barriers and angle in all directions above and below. Spaced at regular intervals in the walls, narrow openings in the stone allow a view of the desolate landscape far below. These openings in times past - perhaps recent past, judging from the scorch-marks along the walls - served to allow smaller laser weapons to be fired from the protection of the Fort, to supplement the cannons. Even now there's an air of vigilance and mistrust here, as though this precariously-held shred of civilization could fall to an enemy at any moment. A heavily- armored trapdoor in the center of the platform leads to the interior of the stronghold.
Obvious exits:

Rook transmits: 'Done.'.

Cybercraft has arrived.
Cybercraft flys overhead.

Jhiaxus watches Skyflight's approach among the few remaining sentries that stand guard here until the last moment as a precaution.

Cybercraft settles to the ground and transforms.

Skyflight transforms into his Robot mode.

Jhiaxus seems entirely calm and focused. "Final advice which you could not resist dispensing?"

Skyflight says, "Greetings Lord Jhiaxus. I have come to offer my help with the first stop in your journey."

Skyflight wisely does not offer a sarcastic comment or actual advice.

Jhiaxus says, "The Monacus defenses, yes. I still have the datadisk you gave me. There is additional information?"

Skyflight says, "I am unsure. My recent projections indicate the Monacians may have upgraded their defense systems by now. I might be able to provide on site assistience."

Jhiaxus rumbles, "Explain. And understand that I am eager to be underway now."

Skyflight says, "Just that I would like to accompany you, as far as Monacus. To provide what help I can."

Jhiaxus looks a bit dubious. "You have cleared this with your commander?"

Skyflight says, "Not yet. I wished to clear it with you first. And I did not wish to inform Shockwave of your plans without your permission."

Rook transmits: 'Shall I send our new recruits to the ship?'.

Jhiaxus considers, then says, "Take the idea to Shockwave. If he does not object, I will welcome your assistance."

Jhiaxus transmits 'You can begin directing them towards the ship if they are ready to depart.' to Rook.

Rook transmits: 'And the other Decepticons? Shall I show them down as well?'.

Jhiaxus transmits 'No. Let them be ... surprised.' to Rook.

Rook transmits: 'Understood. Is all well with Skyflight?'.

Jhiaxus repeats, "Once I am assured of Shockwave's permission, you are free to join us. I am needed at the ship, join us when you are ready."

Jhiaxus transmits 'He may be accompanying us for a short while until our first stop.' to Rook.

Rook transmits: 'Understood.'.

Skyflight nods slowly and transforms.
Skyflight transforms into his Cybercraft mode.

Cybercraft flies up over the fortress walls and rapidly disappears from view.
Cybercraft has left.

You lift the heavy trapdoor and walk down a steep, dark spiral staircase.

Entrance Hall

The heavy double doors swing outward with a slight groan, letting you pass into the throne room.

You step into the near-complete darkness of a narrow passage that slopes sharply downward, eventually forming itself into rough-hewn stairs beneath your feet. Just when the winding descent threatens to become endless, you detect a faint light up ahead.

Laboratory

The hinges creak and groan as the heavy door swings out, letting you pass.

Storage Room

In contrast to the chaotic disorder of the laboratory, this room is divided into precisely regimented storage space. But everything stands empty - where once huge stacks of sheet metal, armor plate, thick cabling, and crates of circuitry were piled in orderly arrangements, there is only barren shelving. Additionally there are weapons racks shaped for everything ranging from old-style spiked battle clubs to components for perimeter-defense cannons. But these too are picked clean. Not a scrap of anything has been left behind.
Obvious exits:
    South leads to Vault.
    North leads to Laboratory.

The metal panel retracts into the wall, letting you through.

Vault

This huge sensor-shielded and metal-lined chamber seems custom-built to contain that most precious of Decepticon resources, energon. One could almost imagine it filled ceiling-to-floor with identically-proportioned cubes, glowing with a soft pink light as the potent energies within the cubes swirl gently. The warm glow and color would make for a calming effect, very much at odds with the destructive potential contained therein - but the room stands empty, its smooth floor and seamless walls giving no clue as to what may or may not have once been stored here.
Obvious exits:
    North leads to Storage Room.

The metal panel retracts into the wall, letting you through.

Storage Room

You lift the heavy trapdoor with some difficulty and descend into another stone passage. An intense cold radiates from the walls and the stone beneath your feet, as you descend ever deeper into the heart of the mountain.

Shipyard

Another patchwork of light and shadow, this uneven cavern hollowed out deep within the mountain, is nearly filled by a gargantuan starship. Last- minute preparations for lift-off are underway as workers, dwarfed by the lethally elegant sweep of the wings and tail, clamber over the hull and move in and out of multiple entrance ramps, running final maintenance checks. Gone are the forced laborers; the watchful sentries who once guarded them, are themselves now preparing to take to the stars.

Rook transmits: 'Perhaps bringing the ship up will expedite things. Corsiar is tallying.'.

Jhiaxus transmits 'The 'Twilight' will emerge when all are aboard. There is only one way out, and I intend it to leave a lasting impression in the mythology of this world ... as long as it should last.' to Rook.

Rook transmits: 'I see. Corsair is insisting on saying goodbye to someone... hence things are not going as planned.'.

Jhiaxus transmits 'Inform this Corsair, if he wishes to accompany us, that we will have to be on our way. I have no further patience for delays.' to Rook.

Skyflight has arrived.
Skyflight enters the room at a slow measured pace.

Jhiaxus oversees the last of the loading and pre- flight exterior inspections on the ship.

Skyflight comes in behind a pair of sentries. "Shockwave said it was fine. I am at your disposal."

Skyflight says, "I will assist with the pre-flight engine check if that is permissible."

Rook transmits: 'I'm leaving him behind, he called me a peon!'.

Jhiaxus transmits 'He will be left behind in any case if he does not follow you down to the ship.' to Rook.

Jhiaxus nods to Skyflight a bit absently, his mind running through a list of reminders to himself and preparations.

Rook has arrived.

Skyflight heads toward the engines, hand already blurring over his PDA.

Rook stalks in. Looking peeved.

Jhiaxus looks away from the ship as Rook comes in. "Problems?"

Rook says, "I will not tolerate being called a peon."

Rook says, "By the way he talked to Shockwave, we will have problems with this one, I guarantee you that!"

Jhiaxus's optics flash a little brighter. "I will teach him soon enough where his place is."

Corsair has arrived.
Corsair strides into the room.

Rook looks to see what Skyflight is up to.

Corsair walks in, head low. His troops and the other departing Decepticons follow him in

Jhiaxus looks over at the new arrival and demands, "Is this the one?"

Rook says, "Yes."

Skyflight is helping with the engine pre-check, but is keeping an eye on the situation.

Rook says, "Double checking on my engine check? Good good..."

Rook eyes the straggling sentries.

Jhiaxus looks over Corsair and those who follow him. "All of you wish to join us?"

Skyflight says, "A second pair of eyes never hurts you. After all, I helped design them"

Corsair looks at Jhiaxus and salutes, "Decepticon Raider Commander Corsair and his Raiders reporting, sir."

Jhiaxus regards them with a coldly appraising look.

Rook nods. "I see.

Corsair nods, "Yes..."

Jhiaxus nods. "I commend your vision in realizing this is the course to the future. However, I will make one thing clear to you from the beginning. This is no pleasure-trip. We will face greater adversity than you may ever have known before."

Rook says, "Is the medtech on board?"

Corsair says, "Your point being?"

Jhiaxus says, "I expect you and your troops to maintain utmost obedience, because delay or dissent will not be tolerated. We cannot afford it. Ultimately, the sacrifices will be worth it. Do I make myself understood?""

Jhiaxus steps close to Corsair and glares at him warningly, making it clear that troublemakers will be dealt with harshly.

Jhiaxus says, "I expect a smoothly functioning unit of troops. You and your followers are to integrate themselves under my command. That includes Rook, and my Hellpit warriors. If you can handle that -- then we have a universe to conquor."

Corsair nods

Twinge emerges from the airlock of Starship Twilight.
Twinge has arrived.
Twinge moves quietly into the room keeping to the shadows.

Rook watches the last of the sentries get aboard the Twilight.

Twinge walks out scribbling on an electronic memo pad..

Rook says, "Commander. All sentries are aboard."

Corsair seems a little preoccupied

Corsair says, "I will do as you desire, but note now I will take orders from you and you alone."

Twinge transforms ...
The multifunction robot rocks back on its tank tracks and open s up from the torso. Its head divides into two large arms and the tracks combine with the lower body to form robot legs.. A large head raises out and Twinge's optics glow bright blue as he mumbles.. "... all is within my grasp!"

Jhiaxus turns sharply away from Corsair, nods briefly to Rook, and starts up the entrance ramp, expecting the others to follow. He pauses as Twinge appears in the entryway. "You found your way to the ship as well, good."

Rook transmits a radio message.

MultFunc Unit rolls twards Jhiaxus and his group...

Rook receives a radio message.

Skyflight finishes his check. "Engines check out one hundred five percent of nominal."

Rook frowns at what Corsair said.

Jhiaxus glances back at Corsair. "My first orders are that you follow my chain of command. As I told you, I will tolerate no trouble."

Rook nods to Skyflight. "Good."

Jhiaxus says, "Excellent, Skyflight. Commence boarding."

MultFunc Unit waits for an appropriate time to speak...

Jhiaxus continues the rest of the way up the ramp and into the massive ship.

Skyflight nods, and makes his way on board.

Rook says, "Commander. Sentries are already all aboard."

You enter the Starship Twilight via its airlock.

Starship Twilight

The "Twilight" is a small city in the shape of a starship - a rather crowded one, to be sure, but one with accomodations for large numbers of troops, and facilities for making a long interstellar journey at least tolerable, if not comfortable. Crew quarters and storage holds take up much of the interior, while the bridge is situated far forward, dominated by a huge shielded viewscreen. The command chair in the center is placed higher than the other stations and has a vague throne-like quality even in its utilitarian design. The outer perimeters of the bridge are taken up by navigation, weapons, and sensor stations of various types.

Skyflight enters the room at a slow measured pace.

MultFunc Unit Twinge rolls in on a set of large tank tracks.
MultFunc Unit follows...

Corsair strides into the room.

Rook transmits a radio message.

Rook takes his seat in the pilots chair.

Skyflight takes the tactical position.

Rook buckles up. "Commencing countdown and final checks."

Corsair does not sit yet.

Jhiaxus looks around the bridge in satisfaction, then settles into the command chair in the middle.

Rook receives a radio message.

[OOC] Jhiaxus says, "Assume we came through some internal hallways to get here ... this is a big ship."

Rook runs through the checks.

Jhiaxus shoots a warning glance at Corsair, will deal with him later if necessary.

Corsair looks at Jhiaxus, then to his troops, waiting "I will obey none but you and they will obey you and myself only. That is the way it has always been"

Skyflight says, "Weapons fuly charged, countermeasure electronics operational to specs. Nice interface by the way Rook."

Corsair says, "less likely for disloyalties that way, sir."

Rook says, "Commencing engine warm up. Everyone to your seats and buckle up."

Jhiaxus rumbles ominously, "Then perhaps you will have to make some changes. I will not allow your self-centered notions to endanger the entire mission. Now, take your position at your prefered station."

Skyflight looks over to Corsair, frowning.

MultFunc Unit rolls up beside Jhiaxus bringing him an electronic memo pad to look over..(its the repair bay supplies conformation list)

Corsair stands

Corsair says, "I trust not your second in command and will not obey his orders"

Rook says, "Engines at nomimal heat. Ready to launch Commander."

Jhiaxus says, "Ah yes, Twinge. Everything that could be taken, has been?"

Jhiaxus says, "One moment, Rook."

Rook flicks the weapons to online. "Ready at your command."

There's something suddenly dangerous about Jhiaxus' tone, as he slowly rises from his command chair and turns toward Corsair.

[OOC] Skyflight says, "<Jhi voice> Gotta slag this guy real quick first."

MultFunc Unit nods his large head .. "Everything as ordered commander.. We are ready.."

Outside in Hellpit Territory:

A shuddering goes through the ground as though massive engines had been turned on below ground nearby.

Rook says, "You might want to sit down Skyflight."

Jhiaxus advances on Corsair, very slowly, his optics luminous and warning. He rumbles ominously, "You will do as I command. And you will respect Rook as my subcommander, and whatever chain of command I place you in. Or else you will greatly regret it. Now sit down!"

Rook listens to the various stations check in. He nods in satisfaction. "All aboard are situated. All is secure. Weapons are targeted to expedite our leaving."

MultFunc Unit widens his wheel base and locks his tracks in position..

Skyflight says, "Full countermeasures on-line and ready to fly, Lord Jhiaxus."

[OOC] MultFunc Unit says, "well lest see I can be Bones.. Jhiaxus can be Kirk,, Rook can be Spock...:)"
[OOC] Jhiaxus says, "And Corsair is shaping up to be a redshirt.... :)"

Rook waits for his Commander to give the go ahead.

Rook transmits a radio message.

Jhiaxus continues to stare down Corsair, waiting for an acknowledgement.

MultFunc Unit scribbles on the memo pad..

Rook flicks a switch to start retracting the landing wheels/pads

Rook says, "Commander?"

Jhiaxus says, "Yes, Rook. I grow tired of the delays as well."

Skyflight quietly activates the bridge security systems.

Rook says, "Weapons at full. FIRING!"

Corsair looks at Jhiaxus, "We are loyal, but we will not obey any save you and myself."

Jhiaxus very calmly draws an ion cannon out of his weapons storage and levels it at Corsair. "Now," he says. "Are you going to end your journey before it begins?"

The weapons fire at the cliffside in front of the ship.

Jhiaxus tosses an irritated look back at Rook. "Cease fire!"

Skyflight releases the countermeasures.

Rook says, "Sorry sir. Thought you wanted a lasting impression..."

Jhiaxus says, "I will first deal with this insurgent."

Corsair looks at Jhiaxus, awaiting answers.

Jhiaxus's optics flash brilliant now as he lunges at Corsair and reaches out, not with the ion cannon, but swinging a fist at him.

Jhiaxus strikes Corsair with his punch attack.

Rook waits for his commander to do what must be done, meanwhile the cliffside has blown out from the weapons fire. leaving a hole big enough for the ship to fit through.

Skyflight flicks on the security field, protecting himself, Twinge and Rook.

Jhiaxus growls, "Now be seated!"

Rook powers down the weapons. Keeping the ship in a hover in the shipyard.

MultFunc Unit crosses his arm-claws across his chest and watches..

A massive plasma blast has errupted from the side of the cliff under hellpit fortress...

Rook transmits a radio message.
Rook receives a radio message.
Rook transmits a radio message.

Jhiaxus levels his cannon. "One more move, and I vaporize you."

Jhiaxus is not kidding. Anyone with one bit of sense will back down now.

Corsair sees this as no longer a show of strength, but a threat.

<Cybertron> Autobot sensors detect a confusing wave of energy, but no source is evident.

MultFunc Unit stands silently next to the command chair , arms crossedover his chest..Watching ..

Corsair motions to -his- Raiders to sit down.

Corsair sits as well

Jhiaxus powers up the ion cannon. "I can see that you are unfit to accompany us, that you do not know your place."

Jhiaxus misses Corsair with his ion_cannon attack.

Corsair seems almost in shock

Purloin sits down, "Whattheheck's goinon boss?

Jhiaxus growls as Corsair sits just as the ion blast rips past him.

Rook says, "About time..."

Rook says, "Fire on the bridge! Get a containment unit up here stat!"

Skyflight has fortunately activated the deflector shields so vital components are not fried.

Jhiaxus steps up to Corsair and slams the cannon across his face instead.

Rook says, "This is NOT a drill!"

Skyflight grabs a fire suppressor from the wall and goes to work.

Jhiaxus says, "You will keep your place. Then you may remain here. Or else -- you die. I do not tolerate such insubordination.""

MultFunc Unit rolls over to the fore and begins to try and put out the flames with Co2.

Jhiaxus turns away from Corsair and snaps, "Finish up with that damage control." He settles into his command chair and adds to Corsair, "We will discuss nothing further. You will obey me, or you will die. There is no in-between."

<Decepticon> Ripsaw says, "what's up Chumps?"

<Decepticon> Rook says, "In a moment you will all see the glory of the 'Twilight'!"

<Decepticon> Ripsaw says, "Oh...yeah...that.."

<Decepticon> Ripsaw says, "Sure I will."

<Decepticon> Ghost remarks softly, "Seen it.. Got the holo."

<Decepticon> Shockwave responds, but his voice seems distance, "So I have heard of its existance."

Rook runs a check on any damage to vital components. "Hmm nice work Skyflight..."

Purloin says, "Wherewegoin wherewegoin?"

MultFunc Unit works on getting the fire under control...

Fire is contained.

Skyflight lets Twinge put out the rest of the flames and goes back to check the equipment. "Thank you."

Rook says, "Damage minimal. Ready to go underway."

Jhiaxus says, "Now, Rook. Pick up where you left off."

MultFunc Unit goes to work on any damaged systems..

[OOC] MultFunc Unit shakes his head..."I'm a doctor , not a fire-containment engineer :P

Rook says, "Fire weapons again? The hole is big enough now Commander."

Skyflight says, "Countermeasures launching."

Outside in Hellpit Territory:

The subterranean rumble of the engines died down for a bit, now comes up again with renewed power.

Rook powers up weapons. Figuring his Commander wants to give a really good show.

Purloin says, "Boss?"

Skyflight says, "Cloak appears functional as well."

Corsair looks at Purloin, "Stay. I need this time to think."

Rook nods to Skyflight. "Ready with weapons."

Jhiaxus leans forward to peer at the viewscreen. "I want that opening enlarged so the ship can emerge more easily."

<Decepticon> Ripsaw says, "It'll probably fizzle and pop and then crash horribly into the trench"

<Decepticon> Skyflight says, "Not likely Ripsaw. Assume cover and observe."

<Decepticon> Shockwave says, "Ripsaw, your tone of disrespect is not accepted. Either behave or I will force your radio down your exhuast pipe."

<Decepticon> Ripsaw says, "I'm gonna shut up now shockwave because I know you have the power to do that...."

<Decepticon> Ripsaw says, "Over and out."

Rook says, "Weapons fire!"

Outside in Hellpit Territory:

A blast of plasma fire bursts out of the cliffside again, the rocks crumbling around the opening that was already there from earlier.

Weapons fire, enlarging the hole with a satifying explosion

<Cybertron> Any sensors detect another wave of energy.

Jhiaxus says, "Now, take us forward. Slowly."

Rook says, "Engines at one quarter thrust. Engaging."

MultFunc Unit returns to his position on the left side of Jhiaxuz' command chair.. It then locks its tracks in place and sits idlely.

Rook pilots the Twilight like a pro.

Purloin says, "Sowherewegoin?"

Corsair says, "wherever they wish us to go."

Rook says, "Monacus first I believe..."

The massive ship emerges slowly from the cliffside ... this is much bigger than most thought, its wingspan barely clearing the opening it blasted into the cliffside.

Rook guides the ship through the hole and into daylight.

Purloin says, "Gotit"

Corsair returns to his seat and buckles up.

Jhiaxus takes no further notice of the others on the bridge as he concentrates on the view of his former territory shown on the screen, picking out the Decepticons below.

Screen:
========== Hellpit Territory ==========
This small but strategically located territory is positioned just south of Cybertron's equator in the easternmost fringes of the Bismuth Mountains -- which rise all around like broken silvery shards into the eternal night sky. This wild, remote country is inhospitable and difficult to traverse, seemingly harsh and barren, but its true riches lie below ground: vast stores of quadrilithium crystals, the best known power conductors for weaponry. The Hellpit mines have long served as a repository for Autobot prisoners and the occasional Decepticon dissident. The Decepticon warlords of the region have squabbled over this choice piece of territory since time immemorial, and its borders and rulers have changed hands so often that record keepers in Polyhex no longer even bother to keep track.

Jhiaxus says, "Take us up a little higher ... and hold position."

Skyflight says, "Are you going to bother cloaking so the Bots do not detect us?"

Rook pilots the ship so it comes over the edge of the cliff...

Jhiaxus nods to Skyflight. "Engage this device of yours."

Jhiaxus says, "And Rook -- patch the ship in to the Decepticon frequency."

MultFunc Unit twists at what would be considered his 'waist' to look at Jhiaxus. It then pulls out a scanner and scans over the repairs that were done on Jhiaxus eairler.

Rook nods, he patches the ship in. 'done."

Skyflight plugs his PDA into the main console."Computer, build training module, subject Cloaking Device, take hueristics from my controls.

Skyflight activates the cloak.

<Decepticon> The image of the bridge of the Starship Twilight flickers on to any Decepticon near a communications screen ... for those not near a screen, only the voiceover is heard.

<Decepticon> Jhiaxus from his command seat in the center of the bridge looks at the screen and says, "I send this final message to those that remain behind, particularly Shockwave. I will keep it brief - I am not in the habit of making lengthy farewells. Nor am I in the habit of leaving chaos behind me. You will find Hellpit devoid of slaves who might rise against those who remain, and I wish you success in keeping the mines under control. No doubt you will re-fill them with workers soon.

Purloin says, "I'mscared"

Corsair says, "you would be"

Rook continues hovering the ship slowly up, letting it twirl a bit so all sides of the ship are seen by the Cons below

<Decepticon> Jhiaxus says, "Shockwave ... when you should be ready to join me, you will find a Decepticon empire waiting for you among the stars. Until then ... I wish you well."

MultFunc Unit finishes his scans , and being satisfied with the result he returns his attention to the main screen..

The gargantuan starship rises higher slowly and majestically above all those who watch below.

Rook transmits a radio message.

Jhiaxus says, "Now, Rook. Upward. We have wasted too much time on this world, and the universe awaits."

Rook says, "Any speed Commander? (said with a grin)"

Jhiaxus settles back and smiles slightly. "Your discretion, Subcommander."

Rook sets in the coordinates. "Coordinates set for Monacus. Engaging engines at half impulse."

Purloin says, "Whyweleavin Sir?"

Corsair says, "because I said so"

Purloin says, "Okay."

Ghost transmits: 'If I might be allowed to escourt you and yours from Cybertrons orbit..sir.. *very stilted and formall tone raspy*'.

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Sky above Hellpit Territory.

Rook cruises the ship at half impulse.

Jhiaxus transmits 'If you wish to accompany us to the edge of your planet's atmosphere, that would be acceptable.' to Ghost.

Ghost transmits: '*soft* I would be honored to be allowed such a privledge.'.

Jhiaxus seems puzzled for a moment at the transmission he gets, then simply accepts it.

Purloin yawns

Skyflight is still tweaking the cloak, adjusting parameters.

MultFunc Unit crosses his arm-claws across its chest, its optic changes from blue to green.

Jhiaxus transmits 'Are you certain you do not wish to accompany us?' to Ghost.

Ghost transmits: 'I cant. I gave my word to someone I'd stay'.

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Sky above Hellpit Territory.

Purloin says, "Sowhymonacus?"

Corsair says, "That I do not know, either."

Purloin says, "Ohokay"

Rook finally breakes into the stratosphere

Jhiaxus leans back and watches the screen as the atmosphere of Cybertron thins out, as they begin to break free.

Screen:
========== Northern Stratosphere ==========
You move into the cool stratosphere of Cybertron, noting how thin the air is. The crimson and purple haze from below darkens substantially the further away from the planet's surface you move. Those without FTL engines find maneuvering here increasingly difficult, in fact, if they go any higher, they are likely to stall out their engines and plummet to the ground far, far below. For those who do possess FTL engines, the twinkling of the stars around you beckon you into a higher orbit.

OOC ---Star Trek theme starts----

Jhiaxus says, "Skyflight, is there any evidence of hostile pursuit?"

Skyflight says, "Negitive."

<Decepticon> Rook notes you'll see Twilight leaving into low orbit ;)

Screen:
========== Low Cybertron Orbit ==========
You enter Cybertron's low orbit--the buffer region between the absolute darkness and frigidness of space and the atmosphere of the living planet below. Gravity beckons you lower while the austere beauty of the surrounding stars beckon you further into the dark void of deep space.

From this vantage, you can see the dead zones that make up nearly half of Cybertron below as well as the the three moons that orbit this world. As you look around, Pax, the smallest moon, careens into your area on a random and erratic path, zipping past with the speed needed to maintain such a low orbit around Cybertron.

Rook says, "Going to full impulse."

Screen:
========== Cybertron High Orbit ==========
You slide into Cybertron's orbit and are immediately engulfed in a fine mist of dust particles that the rings around Cybertron rain down on the planet's atmosphere. The cold of space is tempered slightly by the nearness to the metal planet, but not nearly enough. You internal circuits kick in at your inactivity, warming your vital systems as needed until you either engage your FTL engines or slip planetwards where it is slightly warmer.

Rook says, "Entering a wormhole. Hang on"

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Sector 774.

Jhiaxus peers at the strange distortion in space that he recalls from his last flight through here.

Rook says, "Monacus in sight."

Jhiaxus says, "Cloak the ship before we come in range of their sensors."

Rook disengages the FTL and goes to full impulse. "Cloak is already engaged. Coming to full impulse."

Skyflight says, "Reengaging cloak. That wormhole really shook a few systems."

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Monacus Orbit.

Purloin says, "Cloakissomethingthatkeepsushidden."

Rook says, "IN MONACUS ORBIT"

Jhiaxus flickers a questioning look at Purloin, but then returns his attention to the screen.

Rook takes the ship to the south hemisphere. Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Southern Hemisphere.

Jhiaxus says, "Rook, Skyflight ... disable their defense systems. I have troops standing by to swoop down and gather what they can, then move on."

Rook says, "Engines to one quarter speed. Disabling systems now."

Jhiaxus says, "Power up the plasma cannons. We will crater the surface a bit if we must."

Skyflight's fingers blur over the console. "Sensors blind Rook, hit the weapons array."

MultFunc Unit smirks..

Rook says, "Weapons at ready. Charging."

Jhiaxus says, "Take out the main defensive emplacements below us."

Skyflight says, "Fighters scrambling, they will not bother us. Choosing primary targets."

Rook says, "Ready to fire. Firing!"

Skyflight says, "What kind of ships do you want Lord Jhiaxus?"

Jhiaxus sends a silent command to the warriors standing at the ready, further back in the ship. Sensors show as a hatch opens and a swarm of former Hellpit sentries dives toward the surface.

Rook says, "Defense systems at 50%."

Purloin says, "Whatyameannotaproblem?"

Rook says, "Selecting secondary targets."

Jhiaxus says, "Right now, I simply want to fill the remaining cargo space. We will see about building more vessels once we're clear of orbit and on our way in earnest."

Skyflight says, "Primus damn them, I knew it! New battle array bearing one two seven mark three!"

On the screen, the Decepticon warriors reach the surface with their own weaponry blazing.

Rook says, "Making corrections to targetting to fire on battle array."

MultFunc Unit clicks his optics to orange.. (Hmmmms...)

Rook says, "Weapons at ready. Charging."

Skyflight says, "It will pick off our warriors before we can destroy it. Lord Jhiaxus, you should intercept it."

Skyflight unbuckles and heads toward the airlock.

Jhiaxus growls, and reaches toward the controls in his armrest to re-direct targetting functions to his control.

Jhiaxus says, "Wait, Skyflight. I designed the main cannons to be highly maneuverable. Watch."

Rook says, "Weapons now switched to Commanders chair. At your will sir."

Purloin says, "Thisisgonnahurt"

Skyflight says, "It will be in plantary cover in two seconds."

Rook keeps track of the sentries below.

Sensors show the scorpionlike tail of the ship swinging around with amazing speed and flexibility, its plasma beam lancing out....

The entire ship shudders with the effort, but remains level.

Skyflight nods. "Impressive."

Rook says, "Sentrie group Alpha is boarding. Minimal causalties."

Jhiaxus watches the screen intently, firing one last burst as the defensive system explodes into a brilliant fireball.

Purloin says, "Ohbutmaybeitwon'thurt...right boss?"

Rook says, "Platform is falling into Monacus airspace."

Most of the sentries below are still battling their way forward on the surface, making for the coordinates of the fuel supplies that they'd been given earlier.

Jhiaxus glances back at Purloin. "You will find that a great many problems can be avoided with some advance planning."

Rook says, "Sentry group Alpha is disembarking to assist the other groups."

Skyflight says, "Well, this is where I egress. A good journey to you all, and may you meet with success."

Rook says, "Good luck Skyflight."

Back-up troops begin to cover the retreat as fuel and supplies begin to be carried back toward the ship, hurriedly, before additional planetary reinforcements arrive.

Skyflight heads toward the airlock, giving Rook and Jhiaxus each a salute.

Jhiaxus says, "You will find your way back without problems?"

Rook salutes Skyflight. "Safe journey."

Skyflight says, "I will need to steal a ship first, but that should pose no problems. Safe journey Rook, Lord Jhiaxus."

Jhiaxus rises from his command chair and takes a small recording chip out of his storage compartment.

Rook looks to the screen. "Sentries are returning to the ship with supplies. Group C is effecting coverfire."

Purloin says, "Thatwasprettycool"

Jhiaxus says, "One last thing." He holds out the chip. "Something for Shockwave. See that he gets it.""

Skyflight takes the chip and nods. "I will."

Jhiaxus says, "As my Subcommander said, have a safe journey ... home."

Rook transmits a radio message.
Skyflight receives a radio message.

Skyflight says, "We will meet again I am sure. When our home is the crowning jewel of the galaxy."

Skyflight gives Jhiaxus a grin and nods to Rook. "I will."

Skyflight departs through the airlock.

Skyflight steps out of the airlock and transforms.

Rook says, "All sentries are aboard."

Jhiaxus smiles very slightly for a moment, then turns back to the screen. "Status of planetary defenses?"

Purloin says, "Byebyeskyflight."

Rook says, "Minimal causalties... defenses are sending in reinforcements. We need to get out of here.""

Jhiaxus settles back into his command chair. "Take us out of orbit."

Jhiaxus says, "Twinge - make yourself useful in repair bay."

Rook says, "Engines engaged."

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Monacus Orbit.

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Sector 774.

MultFunc Unit nods and unlocks his tracks .. He rolls down the hall to the elivator...

Jhiaxus says, "You-" he looks at Purloin, "Assist in storage of the newly acquired materials."

Rook says, "Engaging TFL"

Purloin says, "Whome?"

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Sector 1053.

Purloin says, "WhereshouldI go?"

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Sector 860.

Rook pilots Starship Twilight towards Sector 878.

Rook says, "Starting starchart mapping now Commander."

Jhiaxus replies, "To storage. Assist the returning warriors. You will have to begin finding your way around the ship. It will be our base of operations for a while now."

Purloin walks towards the storage holds

Jhiaxus' comlink comes to life.."This is Twinge ,I have arrived in the repair bay.. minimal casualities.. will effect repairs.. "

Rook sets course for a nebula. how fitting ;)

Jhiaxus murmurs, "Mark this moment well. It is the beginning of our destiny."
