Armada

Space Warfare

"Duty is something that must be done, even if no one remembers you for it."

Constructed by Unicron in an alternate universe, Armada was Cyclonus' twin and near-equal in power and combat prowess until he was stranded in this universe through a mishap caused by an antimatter reaction. Damaged during his experience and severed from drawing power from his creator, Armada's combat abilities are somewhat diminished, if his intelligence and willpower are not. Versed in combat strategies and space warfare techniques, he tends to be more of a thinker than a doer at times, but this can mislead others into thinking he's reluctant to act. Sharing the same strong sense of honor as his brother, if more expressive, Armada lives by his own code of conduct and behavior. Rarely volunteering any information about himself, he can be somewhat of a loner though he subconsciously wishes to be accepted by his fellow Decepticons. In robot mode, Armada wields a powerful plasma rifle and energy blades. As a spacejet designed for space combat, he is capable of channeling energy from his fusion generators into neutron disruption beams.

Blitzkrieg

Ground Warfare Specialist

"I serve the my Empire, and only my Empire."

Blitzkrieg is a highly respected soldier and commander in the Deception forces. Respected by his troops for his determination to join in the battles and personal bravery, as well as by his commanders for his knowledge of mobile warfare. His unorthodox tactics have earned him both friends and enemies alike. In robot mode he carries a plasma cannon on his arm, as well as a hand held Gatling gun. In tank mode, he is able to travel up to 60 miles per hour, turret can shoot both plasma and shells, as well as having two mounted machine guns.

Blood Raven

Sniper

"Traitors can't hide forever."

Fiercely loyal to both the cause and to the team, Blood Raven will not hesitate to help and aid her team mates even if it means risking her life. She is wise for her age and exudes a silent confidence especially when in battle where she is most at peace. For a groundstomper she is an unusually excellent shot. Ever eager to prove her self worth, Blood Raven will fight to the bitter end, even if it is a losing match. She has an incredible fear of failure both in combat and in disappointing her leader. Her favorite forms of weapons are an assortment of weapons including her 'spikes' that she can remove from her head and back (actually they are her bullets for her alt form) which she pulls out from subspace. Because her firepower is rather limited in her robot form she is quite dependent on her agility, speed and her environment. Her alt mode is where her real firepower lies, but at the cost of her mobility. Outside of combat she feels awkward and can come across as gruff or snobby especially if she feels threatened. Although she appears to be a warmonger, she is an insightful individual who is always eager to learn.

CatsCradle

Exploration

"History's happened. I'm tracking out the future."

CatsCradle appeared out of nowhere, a mystery to herself and others. She remembers very little before she became a Decepticon, but she harbors a deep hatred for Autobots with no recollection as to why. Her tracking abilities are an asset in many situations, from scouting out an unfamiliar area, to tracking down a targeted individual. Her calm and quiet mannerisms enable her to stay focused, in either solo or group missions, although her stubborn tendencies sometimes keep her on a project past necessity or prudence. Her slight build and armoring, which is an asset in recon missions, are not well suited for heavy combat, and so she is best paired with a larger ally to do the brunt of the fighting while she uses her extreme agility to dart in, disable, and dart out again. Her weapon of choice is a katana-type sword that she carries in an old-fashioned sling on her back. Her fingers are also tipped with claws. She is able to weave a net of energy between her hands (thus her name), which can be used as a protective forcefield, or as an entanglement if she casts it over an opponent or prey that she is tracking. She finds heavy ranged weapons a hindrance, but she has twin laser mountings that fold out from her forearms. Because she knows she is not suited for heavy fighting, she has honed her shooting skills and also is useful as a sniper. Her largest liability is her amnesia, which is a huge emotional weakness for her.

Art by Magic

Chasm

Virus

"If I can't do it, it can't be done."

Chasm was created from the dead datacore of an information anarchist who was executed during the Third Cybertronian War for embezzlement. His personality code is essentially a self-aware virus that that can be introduced into other systems to create various personality clones that break down in a short period due to instabilities. Brilliant, yet arrogant and obsessed with personal gain. Has a variety of special tools, gadgets and databases for accomplishing his underhand work. A mounted generator tapped directly into his datacore creates a variety of three-dimensional holograms. In dragon mode, possesses razor-sharp teeth and light flame-tanks. His cassette mode is a specialized universal interface port. Chasm is able to infiltrate data systems, to either tap them or eject a lethal virus matrix to select and knock out certain areas. Possesses a specialized memory configuration and can store whole libraries full of information. Obsessed with space-travel and interstellar craft. Able to fly starships in cassette mode by jacking in directly to the guidance systems.

Clearblade

Starship Captain

"World by world, we shall unify."

Clearblade began her life as a champion in the gladiatorial pits of Cybertron's underground. Possessing keen intelligence, she realized the pits carried little future and earned a place in the Decepticon army through her conquests. Clearblade has clawed and earned her way to command rank, and is one of Megatron's prized starship commanders due to her near-fanatical belief in the righteousness of the Decepticon cause and her skill in negotiating with or conquering alien races. Believes the Autobots to be criminals standing in the way of unity, seeks to exterminate all Autobot mainline guerilla forces. In robot mode, is extremely agile, carries graviton rifle which uses focused gravity waves to tear opponents to pieces. Wields twin blades, nearly transparent, on forearms, possesses great skill with them. In Assault VTOL mode, is heavily armored, wields antipersonnel missles, 76mm autocannons, and an underbelly graviton turret which can track targets in a 360-degree arc. Expects her warriors to work together cohesively, experiences stress when they don't. Prone to doubts from her warriors if she sticks to diplomacy with a target race for too long.

Codex

Engineer

"Peace must be brought by order. Order must be brought by conquest."

To say Codex likes things orderly would be putting it mildly. The Decepticon engineer, who began his existence as a laboratory super-computer, is obsessed with logic and harmony. Codex often finds the chaos of life difficult to adapt to at times, but is insatiably curious nonetheless, considering it his calling to find peace through Decepticon conquest. He is both brilliant and inventive, constantly working on some new gadget or idea. While his robotic body is rather adequate for combat, Codex is uncomfortable with fighting directly, and tries to avoid open warfare personally whenever he can. This often leads to him being mocked and disdained by other Decepticons for his apparent cowardice, but they are careful not to anger the usually calm Codex, for when he is enraged, he is dangerous like no other. Knowledge is power, and a vengeful genius is a most powerful foe. When he is forced into combat, Codex tends to use the tools of his trade, like laser-scalpels, as weapons, in addition to his usual array of weaponry for his body design. He also tends to have a rather devastating array of gadgets and gizmos at his command, including unique weapons like the devastating Implode-Rockets. Most notable of all, Codex can actually use his massive intellect to put out neuro-signals so powerful that they disrupt the processing of other Transformers. Unfortunately, the attack is useless against organics. For all of his brilliance, Codex is a social misfit, unused to actually being able to interact with others. He is learning to cope with his new body, but it is a slow process indeed.

Cutter

Field Medic

"It is inefficient to send a warrior back to the medlab when you can patch him up on the field."

Cutter is an excellent researcher and field medic. She has some ability to fend off enemies but lacks the training for heavy combat. That suits her just fine. She does her job, then goes on to the next patient. While very skilled in her field, she does lack a certain empathy for wounded mechs. Those who are put into her care often complain at her lack of use of pain retardants. She sees it as a waste unless the said mech is in grave danger or a high commander. Most injuries are set without any pain killers and the mech sent on their way. She uses her telescopic abilities to find the clearest way to her patients. Acid weapons and sonics help her keep enemies at bay while she works. She is often forced to work on battlefields as she cannot carry most mechs back to the lab - even if she so desired to do so.

[No picture available at this time.]

Darkslide

Assassin

"Beware of the shadows, for I am their master."

Darkslide is an assassin. He performs his job to the best of his ability and most often he completes the tasks given to him. His speed and brain power set him apart from other warriors and he uses this to his advantage. Though not as strong as several others in the ranks, his keen intellect more than makes up for it. However, he does not like to be toyed with and can't stand those who 'mess about with him'. He appears as a dark-hearted and ruthless warrior. But he shows a different side out of combat and he cares deeply about the safety of his Decepticon friends and just hopes he will never have the responsibility to command them into battle. His acid rifle can cause immense damage to the outer shell of an Autobot. Darkslide likes the planet of Cybertron and only a direct order can send him away from it. He has a keen interest in Cybertron's history.

Diktat

Diplomat/Politician

"Universal Happiness is only achievable by universal dominion whatever the cost."

The last of the elite Decepticon Diplomat Corp, Diktat is perhaps the most charming and definitely the most loquacious individual on the surface of Cyberton. Physically weak, with a limited array of armaments housed in his forearm weapon-pods, he specialises in fighting the war by other means. To this end, he was rebuilt from the ground up to be a living deceiving machine. With a voice drenched in seductive subliminals, his external emotions under the direct control of the conscious brain and extensive databases devoted to the social mores of a million different planets, Diktat claims to be capable of talking a star into going supernova. Hes almost certainly right. Despite all this social-armament, he is ultimately loyal to the goals of the Empire and Megatron in particular, more than willing to give his own life or the lives of any others to ensure its needed success. Diktat views the Empire as necessary to bring peace to the universe, unifying it forever and banishing the horror of the eternal strife. He transforms into a Seraph Tetrajet, capable of transporting alien VIPs in complete comfort at speeds approaching Mach 1.5. Cultured, intelligent and dryly witty, Diktat is almost certainly your very, very best friend. Honest.

Divefire

Observation & Research

"If you stay true to yourself, you can't go far wrong."

Long ago Divefire was nothing more then a young air jock. He lived to fly and fight, and cared for little else. However he was badly damaged in a fight on the Autobot/Decepticon border. Taken in by the people he saved, he would have died had an old researcher not given his life and merged with him. The result was an older and wiser Divefire, who found he questioned all that was around him. After seeking permission from the Decepticon high command, he went in search of the lost Decepticons and crash landed on Earth. 4 million years later he has revived. Now on a fully developed Earth, he works for Megatron as an observer and researcher into the planet. He is a walking database of Earth information. Divefire is still a formidable warrior. Well practised in close combat and extremely agile, very few can take him down close up. He is armed with an Electro Sword and Arm Rifles. In his Cybertronian Orbital Interceptor mode he can reach escape velocity and in space he can triple that figure. In his Teran Mk III Trans-Am mode he can do the impossible for an Earth car if needed. Most of the time though in this mode he blends in with human life and observes all around him. Divefire prefers to work alone, not used to working with others, or enjoying it. He can often get himself in situations where he is outnumbered and outgunned.

Ferret

Ground-Based Scouting and Reconnaissance

"Anger is fleeting. Remorse is eternal."

Ferret is quiet and reserved most of the time, usually slow to anger and willing to give anyone a chance, no matter how obnoxious they may be. He is not particularly large or strong, relying instead upon speed and agility, but this does not mean he is afraid to get his hands dirty in a fight. His main purpose is to scout out dangerous terrain and observe enemy positions, where his turn of speed will get him out of trouble quickly if spotted. He is also well adapted for hit and run missions. He is not especially ambitious, and is therefore destined never to lead. Ferret has great respect for all his superiors, and often finds himself torn between his loyalty to Megatron and his sympathy for Starscream. He does, however, have the sense not to show a strong following to any one individual. Easy-going, and always willing to see the best in people, Ferret has no trouble getting along with his comrades, although he may occasionally be prone to trusting them more than they deserve. He has a genuine love of life, and feels that the Decepticon cause will eventually bring peace and prosperity to all the races of the universe.

Filcher

Indentured Servant

"If you're gonna do something, don't get caught, and if you do, pay the consequences."

Somewhat talkative, this little mech uses flowery phrases a lot. He's cleverer than he looks, and Filcher has mastered the ability to fake emotions quite convincingly. Working for the Decepticons as punishment for a past crime, he attempts to avoid conflict with the other, true Decepticons, and works loyally and diligently so he can return to his life as a neutral Cybertronian someday. He transforms into a hovercraft, but is not permitted to carry arms. Dislikes authority but will not talk back, and is incredibly claustrophobic and is terrified of being locked up or restrained.

Flamethrower

Inquisitor

"One pawn can cause the enemy king to be exposed to its destruction."

In an effort to learn secrets and weaknesses of enemy Autobots, Flamethrower listens to tales such as Decepticon rumors and bragging sessions. She's a fairly serious individual who believes fighting to be a responsibility of being a Decepticon, rather than a means to gain personal advancement. She believes that logic and information from sources such as Scouts will ultimately uncover the cracks that the military troops can then use to destroy the Autobots or any other enemy. Shockwave holds the only true power behind her loyalty. She tries to act emotionless, but often fails in that regard. She resents Vector Sigma because she believes it rewrote her personality from the ideal emotionless one that her designer envisioned. Her gun fires 3 types of ammunition, which she must manually switch to change between them: fire, water, and a standard laser type weapon. Of the three types, water is a carefully rationed resource.

Flashpoint

Medic/Flamethrower

"Pretty fire. Wanna play in it?"

Created in the war-torn city of Vos, Flashpoint has become accustomed to the job of fixing folks, just to have them blown up the next day. One cycle though, after a massive influx of patients, Flashpoint lost it, grabbing a weapon and charging into battle. Rewarded for his bravery with a trip to his own medical bay and a complete rebuild, Flashpoint found himself newly reinforced to deal with the dangers of Field Medicine. His main weapons, now almost all fire based, gave him a new ability that was previously unthought of. Place the medical instruments into his fingers and there is no need for a medkit held in subspace. Also armed with the ability to create balls of fire from his fingertips, plus a new weapon from his alt mode, that of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, he can throw his rotor at great speeds and distances with moderate accuracy. In Black Hawk mode, he carries the standard compliment of weapons carried by the Earth versions of himself, hellfire missiles and a chain gun. Capable as both a medic and a fighter, he is overly loyal to Colossus, prefering to stand as his escort and staying in battle longer than he should so that his commander can live to fight another day.

Ghost

Counter-Intelligence Operative

"Fear not the shadows, but what lies within."

Ghost is an enigma. Her speech, mannerisms, even her physical form is all subject to change. There are few files on this individual, and the ones that are present do not convey the true capabilities of this shadow's dancer. She possesses a pride and bearing that shows in the detail that she focuses on her work. Underneath the quiet, studious gaze that she presents the world is a seething maelstrom, a desire to prove to everyone that she is not simply a sports model. Possesses a strangely vast array of weaponry and the ability to become a 'ghost' through means that have not been disclosed. Prone to abusing her own form for the sake of a mission, to the point of collapse. When her temper breaks, normally with a violent suddenness that dies down as quickly as it manifests her strength and firepower become openly apparent.

Ground Pounder

Heavy Mining

"If this planet has any resources, I'll find them and tear them from the ground."

Constructed by Decepticons on the Earth, Ground Pounder is used for mining operations to uncover energy sources for the Decepticons. He is very patient and performs all of his actions in a slow and methodical way. He is extremely loyal to Megatron. He detests organic life forms and enjoys destroying organic environments in his path when carrying out his primary function. He prefers to keep both feet on the ground, and avoids flying when it isn't necessary; he suffers from vertigo when flying at high altitudes. In robot mode, he possesses an arm-mounted Shaped Charge Launcher used for breaking up solid rock before he starts digging, but since he wasn't designed with combat in mind, has trouble hitting moving targets. When in battle, he primarily uses his large Energy Scythe; he doesn't really relish fighting, but he doesn't try to avoid it; he would just rather be stripping a planet of its resources. Built-in enhanced sensor suites allow him to detect energy-providing resources buried deep underground. In his giant dragline mode, he can dig up to 250 tons of material in a single scoop of his cavernous bucket; and can excavate large pits up to 200' deep in search of resources. His only mobility in this mode comes from 2 massive 'shoes' mounted on both sides of his main structure that lift him up and push him backwards at a maximum speed of almost 1/4 mph. Due to his great mass, he requires a stable ground when operating, and is highly vulnerable to earthquakes when at the edge of the pit that he's mining.

Gryphus

Historian

"To study the past and present of history and culture is to know your future."

Focused, zealous, tenacious, patient, and unrelenting. Gryphus is not only a historical and cultural researcher of great significance, but she's not a shabby warrior either. She always knew what she wanted to be, thanks in part to who created her. It should be noted that she is well travelled, that is to say she's been on several Decepticon claimed planets. In fact she was created on one of them, hence why no one will know who she is when she arrives. She officially joined the Earth bound Decepticons after they discovered her mucking around their mainframe files from a remote location! As part of her joining them, she was instructed to learn more of combat and get a structural improvement. The latter came later, after she became fascinated with human mythologies. Thus a rather unique alternate form was born - a hippogriff. She had to pay a flier to learn how to do aerial combat, but that was fine with her. Though not as agile in the air as a typical flier, she makes up for it somewhat in how she approaches her targets. That's both her blessing and her curse. She can get too into what she's targeting to notice that she's being targeted. As with all other flying forms, her wings are the easiest and most obvious of targets, the same goes for his legs. Gryphus has added much to historical and cultural databases with her research on not only the Decepticons, but that of the human inhabitants on Earth as well as other civilizations from Decepticon claimed planets. When not busy with research or training, Gryphus might be found socializing with the other Decepicons or perhaps taking a leisurely flight. Though a researcher at heart, she surprises most when she comes across as not boring! She can be the most apt listener, busily taking notes if it's of any research importance, or the most engaging talker if you let her. She's a modestly good artist, which comes in handy when a description doesn't cut it.

Hydra

Shock Trooper

"Repent your sins, you shall not escape the king of dragons."

Awoken to be used as a supreme soldier, Hydra has hardly failed expectations. In the footsteps of other great warrior-leaders, his own military training and battle experience having raised many eyebrows amongst the Decepticon horde. Being too large to keep in a military unit, Hydra's use as a front line attacker and field marshall came into good use. With his three heads and different variations of attacks, his multiple uses have come in handy. While very young and aware of his current ranking, he does show the promise for greatness farther down the line, if his ego and brashness don't stifle him first. His few battles have been praised by his skilled tactics and ability in battle, and as a result, the Tyrians drafted him quickly. He's been known to be rather random at times due to slight changes in his personality, it's known that the red head breathes fire and tends to be quite aggressive when in control. The blue head breathes a chemical alloy that freezes to any surface, making things brittle and weathered. It tends to be much more calm and collective when in control, and most apt for strategy. The green head breathes a corrosive acidic stream, and when control, tends to be quite sadistic. Luckily, few reports of that head taking control have come in. It is all still the same being and personality, just tweaks of certain facets. When actually not in training or devising schemes, rumor has it that he's quite a bit of a packrat, distracted by riches and objects that he hordes in his chambers.

Jetstream

Warrior

"The only lost struggle is the one without meaning."

Jetstream is searching for what he refers to as 'the warrior aesthetic'. He believes that war and conquest have an inherent beauty and meaning to them, one he has yet to piece together. He never shrinks from battle because every new combat situation gives him another chance to find his warrior enlightenment. On a personal level he is inquisitive, at times contemplative, but always quick to follow orders. In battle he prefers swift, full-frontal attacks with either lasers or a beam saber. His strongest assets are speed, maneuverability and good targeting abilities. He is confident in those abilities--one might say a little too confident--and holds nothing back when fighting lest he miss some experience that brings him closer to understanding the ultimate truth of war. He is also somewhat fatalistic as he feels death should be accepted as an occupational hazard.

[No picture available at this time.]

Lancer

Recon

"Go with the flow, unless that flow is heading towards a mountain."

Freshmeat would be Lancer's call sign if Seekers bothered with them. Far from battle-hardened, but eager to please. He always tries his best and if he fails tries again. Not one to make waves, he is very good at blending in and helping others, but sometimes now and then someone may notice a strange tendency for him to parrot. Not just stating the same phrase as someone, but whole sentiments shared in a common voicing of opinion. This doesn't mean he doesn't have his own mind and will speak it when he sees the group obviously heading into danger. As a Tetrajet Lancer is fast, able to come close to the speeds the elite seekers reach. He is also a decent shot with his lasers. Sadly he doesn't have enough armor or heavy weapons to go head to head with most fighters. Still he is one of the top choices for airborn intel or hit-and-run operations.

Macabre

Medic

"Whatever gets you through the night."

Macabre was once a feeble and timid shell of a Decepticon, scared of her own shadow and a willing receptacle for abuse from anyone who could give it to her. After spending time in the area known as the Nightwarrens, where every day was a struggle to survive, she has emerged a changed woman, both mentally and physically. While suddenly assertive and bearing a newfound mutation on her previous loner mentality, she retains the entirety of her intelligence, particularly her prodigious skill at medicine and repairs. In her new, largely self-built body, she transforms into a lioness, a form drawn from her few experiences with the strange creatures of Earth. She has no externally-based weaponry aside from rudimentary homemade grenades that are definitely more flash than shrapnel. Having forced herself to become an at least somewhat capable combatant, she has learned to use her claws, fangs, and, in robot mode, a variety of concealed bladed weapons and a long, pointed shield to savagely eviscerate opponents. The mouth of her lioness mode contains a small flamethrower. Macabre has extreme troubles in dealing with people foreign to her and should be handled with no shortage of care in that regard.

[No picture available at this time.]

Psykeout

Psychologist/Medic

"Would you mind if I opened you up, just to see what makes you tick?"

ile:Psykeout is unique in many ways. His coloring, his speech patters, but especially the cold-blooded actions that define him. He was not created for fighting, nor does he enjoy it that much. He spends a lot of his time in the shadows, sneaking around in search of a new enemy. Satisfied simply watching the pain and misery of others, he has learned much in his time since creation. Highly intelligent and showing such in his desire to comprehend everything possible, he spends the rest of his time researching everything that he can get his hands on. Speaking with anyone he can find, reading books that he discovers, he has the insatiable thirst for knowledge. He has studied the medical and psychological sciences since his creation, using this as his profession during his life. Loving the exploration inside the minds of others, as well as repairing them, Psykeout hopes that this will help him to be more accepted into the Decepticon Empire.

Raptor

Special Operations, Combatant

"The strong survive, and the stronger lead."

Though Raptor believes strongly that 'The strong survive, and the stronger lead,' she comes off as a raging terror, and as a warrior her berserker bloodlust is like none other. Through all that, Raptor never forgets that she is part of a team, and it's with her team that she finds her strength. Raptor has one fault that drives her mad at times: she has a soft spot for cute fuzzy things and flowers. That's right, folks, Raptor is a romantic at heart and this scares her.

[No picture available at this time.]

Ravenwing

Special Ops

"Pride can come at a terrible cost."

The proud, willful daughter of a high-ranking noble, Ravenwing is perfectly capable of ruling in her own right. Though indeed ambitious, she would never unseat a commander who was leading well, for that would not be in the best interests of the Empire. Now in service to Lord Thunderwing of Valckasta, there is an intangible distance between herself and her comrades, a barrier of pride and inherent authority, despite her lack of visible rank. Her strong sense of duty, as much a part of her as her pride, keeps her there despite her equally strong feeling of alienation. Though most of the other warriors respect her, they are puzzled by her. Usually grave, even grim, she still has a somewhat repressed sense of humour that occasionally breaks free of its constraints, in contradiction to her normal elegant regality. In her early years, she served in the Empire's Special Ops division and is exceptionally skilled at infiltrations and search-and-destroy missions, but unlike most stealth operatives, she is also a powerful, well-trained though inexperienced warrior. This is definitely not apparent from her graceful, stately appearance, as all of her weaponry is normally retracted out of sight, something of a nasty and perhaps even fatal surprise for those who would underestimate the dark femme.

Reaverscythe

Hunter

"Death is the predator that stalks us all, I only hasten the inevitable!"

Reaverscythe is a mechaniod of deep philosophies. Since his awakening from drone status he has been trying to find his own sense of self. He is always studying alien philosophies and ways of thought. When not on the hunt, he can be a soft-spoken, insightful mechanoid, but when on the hunt he is a Decepticon of ferocious temperaments. As a hunter he possess highly refined sensors and can track prey over tremendous distances. He can detect even the smallest biological as well as technological traces. In reaver mode he possess sharp claws that can rip through even cybertronic metals like a knife through butter. His tail can discharge a 75,000-volt sting. His mandibles secrete a corrosive metal-eating solution, which allows him to spit acid at opponents. In robot mode he is armed with a dual-headed 30' long bladed staff weapon, each end with a long metal blade that can slash, stab and pierce its way through the toughest of armor.

Resyke

Cleaner/Informant

"'Scuse me! This mess won't clean itself you know!"

Like his "big (bug) brother" Kickback, Resyke isn't what he seems. Resyke appears to be a friendly, gregarious, even downright cheerful individual, perfectly happy with his role as cleaner, gopher, and general kick-boy of the Decepticons. Often seen in the background of important events, industriously polishing something and trying to stay out of the way, Resyke seems to be content with being the lowest link of the chain of command. Beneath the surface however... Well, actually, Resyke _is_ a friendly gregarious guy. But he's more than a bit jealous of all those Decepticons that don't suck, and holds grudges against those that insult his _important_ role as a cleaner. You don't think all those huge bases clean themselves, do you? It is these qualities that make him perfectly willing to act in his secondary (and secret) function of Informant. After all, no-one notices a cleaning-con, and hey, he's probably a few mechs short of a gestalt anyway, right? Resyke diligently makes reports back to his commander, notifying him immediately of any treachery, insubordination, or stubborn stains that just _won't_ come out.

Art by HMV

Sector

Strategic Intelligence

"The behavior of a good puppet is determined by the will of others."

Manipulation and information is Sector's main purpose. Created originally as a double operative to be placed in the Autobot ranks, his function soon reached far beyond this however. Now used as a means to an end by most Decepticon commanders, Sector's skills in information gathering and interrogation is nearly unsurpassed. Having been experienced in several fields and environments, he now works closely with both tactical and intelligence divisions. His ability to gather the smallest clues or hints into a coherent picture often makes him invaluable. Armed with a specialized long range plasma rifle, which often is used by most snipers, in robot mode, and an assortment of wing mounted missiles in MiG-29 Fulcrum mode.

Skyraider

Interceptor/Air Assault

"Heroes live forever. Cowards do not."

Skyraider is a youthful Decepticon who takes advice from his superiors to heart, but tends to look down on those below him in the ranks or those who he thinks don't fill an important role in the Decepticon Army. He tends to be reckless and bold in battle, determined to prove his worth, but often getting in over his head. At first glance he appears to be a young arrogant know-it-all with no sense of humour. The select few he allows to get close to him know that beneath this, he is a friendly, outgoing warrior that enjoys a good joke. When the shooting starts, you know that he's got your back.

Slasher

Predator

"One walks a fine line between Loyalty and Treachery."

Slasher is by all means an example of the old time warriors from Cybertron's past. Having been under Straxus' command while he was still the un-challenged leader of the Decepticons, Slasher learned from the day he was constructed that unquestioned loyalty pays. Made one of the Elite in the Brotherhood Of Steel, a commando type squad Straxus created to do the impossible. Slasher holds high regards to honor and the ways of the old. After his disappearance for the past five million years, Slasher returned to a Cybertron under new rule. But he still holds close to Straxus with a dark secret he wishes to keep hidden from all others. Taking on a new role in the Empire, Slasher has fallen to the ways of the Bounty hunter, a predator for hire in ways. Using his modified Anti-Armor rifle for long range sniper attacks, he can easily pick off Autobot targets. With his vast knowledge of military tactics and stealth, Slasher has become a master at close range combat, still peferring hand to hand weapons like his Energy Morning Star, Claws, and a Venom type acid which he can spray or inject into his victims causing them a painful death. Numerous adaptation type technologies permit Slasher to be effective or survive almost any environment including exposure to deep space. His only apparent weakness is extreme heat which can cause his systems to malfunction or shut down.

Striker

Warrior

"We Seekers rule the skies; therefore, we rule the galaxy!"

Striker isn't the kind of person that likes to hang around people he doesn't know too well. He is almost always either seen with other seekers, or alone training. He is often cold to people other than seekers. He doesn't care much for the rest of the Decepticons, with the exception of Shockwave, and Megatron, as he sees them as nearly useless. Since Striker was created, he has always been close to himself and seekers only. He is an all-around fighter with good skills in hand-to-hand combat, sharpshooting, and intelligence. He is also quite strong in both strength and endurance. His weakness, not seen by many, is his inablity to follow orders well. Thinking that he himself could come up with a better plan than his commanders give him, he usually takes his own route to combat.

Techno

Research & Development

"Be careful....that might explode....whoops, too late...."

Techno is one of the Decepticons' key R&D people. Her job is to find better ways of using existing technology, or to simply create new technology to help in the Decepticons' fight for total domination. A scientific genius, her IQ is off the scale. Knowledgeable in all the key sciences: chemistry, physics, mechanics, electronics, computers, and even sub-space technology. Equipped with an on-board computer system with its own AI personality. This computer is equipped with a state of the art hologram system, to aid Techno in her research and studies. Lightly armed, she prefers to let others do the fighting ... but she can defend herself if need be ... but she'd rather use her mind, instead of her brawn.

Tempest

Warrior

"Survival of the fittest; destruction of the rest."

Scavenger turned pirate turned newly recruited Decepticon warrior, Tempest is one of the most vicious individuals to ever wear the Decepticon brand. Spending most of her life in an environment where simple existence meant kill or be killed, Tempest has difficulty adjusting to the more civilized and regimented environment of the Decepticon troops. Her agility, speed and cunning, combined with devastating proficiency with a pair of longblades, kept her alive in the scumpits of the universe. However, her abilities are limited to what she's managed to teach herself. She has almost no concept of teamwork, grand strategy, or goals beyond day-to-day survival. In her heart she is a lonely individual, scarred by the brutality of her past; to the observer she is suspicious and guarded, confused by simple courtesies and occasionally downright savage. She has trouble trusting others and places her own survival as paramount; however, she shows considerable potential to be a valuable part of the team if only she can learn to trust them. Tempest's outlook is the product of a lifetime of having nothing to call her own except what she's managed to steal - and a burning will to survive.

Tombstone

Psychological Warfare

"I know you want to beat my mind games, but it's not possible... You no longer exist. **BOOM!**"

Tombstone is a mysterious and dark addition to Megatron's alliance and is always looking to hone his skills at psychological warfare, practising them on everybody from Autobot to Decepticon. Tombstone keeps his features hidden and his true nature concealed. Although he appears as a loyal warrior and ally, there is a hidden gleam of cruelty in his dark optics. Tombstone uses his psychological tricks to gain an advantage over people. His shadowy menace makes others feel uneasy. Though he may strike fear in those of lesser rank, those above him tend to see him as a rookie with no problems of staying under control. If Tombstone has a weakness, it's that he may become too overconfident at the wrong times or lose his courage at the right times. On Earth, he has trouble fitting in with the rest of the troops as he appears untrustworthy and more concerned with his own personal affairs. However, he does have leadership potential. Tombstone uses missiles and a laser sickle. His jet mode is fast but not too reliable. A favourite trick of Tombstone's is to use his holographic abilities to fake his death in combat to confuse the enemy, while he quickly takes advantage of the situation.

Treadnok

Technician

Treadnok is a highly loyal Decepticon. Loyal to the point of blind obedience to his supreme commander (Megatron). Is eternally grateful to Megatron for being let into the Decepticons. Treadnok's loyalty to the cause stems from the time he was a scavenger in the ruins of the Nightwarrens. The Decepticons represented a bigger and better lifestyle. Now that Treadnok is part of that lifestyle, he will do anything to keep it. Treadnok completely fails to see the Autobot point of view, though things could have been different if the Autobots had found him first. Treadnok is a fairly skilled technician, but is somewhat lacking in the social department. The first years of his life spent in the Nightwarrens has made Treadnok very anti-social and isolated. Treadnok tries, but he doesn't understand things such as sarcasm, and may seem dumb to others. Treadnok's expertise is building small and useful gadgets, but can also build bigger things. He has updated his own form with many different weapons and accessories, some of which no one but he is aware of.

WindWhisper

Warrior

"Just remember: No one suspects the butterfly."

Brilliantly colored, WindWhisper is a tapestry woven of beauty and deadliness. Recently created to be a new breed of Insecticon, she is a warrior of grace and precision. Not made for close combat, she is more of a long-range fighter counteracting her butterfly frailty with her marksmanship. For the time being she is young, impressionable, and easy to please. She's at the crucial point where she can be molded for greatness, or broken and crushed like a mere insect. As a Decepticon she is content to just /be/ a Decepticon, not just sit back and do nothing or seek to over throw anyone. As a butterfly, her form gives her an array of interesting weaponry and abilities, but is also her greatest weakness because of its delicate nature. It also makes her somewhat vain, a more psychological weakness, ready to be exploited by those who perceive it. But it, along with her amiable personality, has the advantage of causing her opponents, and even some of her allies, to underestimate her. She has a tendency to take a lighter view of the world around her, a philosophy that gives her strength as much as it blinds her.
