MegatronDecepticon Leader"By any means necessary, victory shall be ours!" |
The ultimate command figure among the Decepticons, Megatron is tremendously powerful and highly intelligent. His charisma, passion, and indomitable courage in the face of great odds, are an inspiration to those who follow him - while his unyielding determination and ruthlessness in battle strike terror into the Autobot ranks. Megatron intends to claim all of Cybertron as his own, and from that point on, to spread the Decepticon Empire outward to the surrounding stars. His trademark weapon is a massive fusion cannon linked to his right arm, which can potentially output enough power to level small cities. Megatron sometimes lets his temper get the better of him, but he also displays a brilliant tactical sense and an instinct for innovation, making him an extremely effective leader.

StarscreamAir Commander/Subcommander"Nothing surpasses flight - and nothing that flies can surpass me." |
Starscream displays a kaleidoscope of personality facets and emotional undercurrents of which he himself is not fully aware, but which are not entirely lost on his comrades. He can be arrogant, selfish, and single-mindedly ambitious, forever seeking to unseat Megatron and assume command himself - but his schemes always seem to backfire as though he were subconsciously sabotaging himself. He forges ahead with supreme confidence, and can display astonishing perseverance in the face of repeated setbacks, but then may trip over his own insecurities. Acknowledged for his combat skills but otherwise often disdained by his comrades despite his constant scrabbling to gain respect, he isolates himself further in a bristling shield of psychological armor. He can waver in an instant from deathless courage in battle to desperate pleas for appeasement in response to an enraged Megatron, when he's stepped too far over the line. Surprisingly, Megatron seldom takes harsh disciplinary action against his troublesome Subcommander; perhaps Megatron yet sees the potential in Starscream if only he could overcome his own internal struggles. In the truest sense a creature of the skies, Starscream is perhaps fully happy only in flight, where he can push his unparalleled aerial skills to their limits. He wields a devastating array of null rays and cluster bombs, which when coupled with his extreme agility and speed, spell swift defeat for an enemy.

SoundwaveCommunications/Repairs/Espionage Coordination"The secrets of the Universe reveal themselves to those who listen." |
Soundwave is a Decepticon of many talents. His highly tuned sensors can intercept enemy transmissions and detect the faintest whisper of a sound; his scientific background was the basis for his largely self-taught repair skills (his area of particular expertise is cerebral neurocircuitry); his unique telepathic powers let him extract information from an enemy or assess the cause, and often the cure, for problems in a comrade. He is a skilled and ruthless fighter when necessary, though not a warrior by nature. He is calm, patient, and composed, often to the point of seeming emotionless - but in truth he is deeply dedicated to his cause, protective of the other Decepticons, and unfailingly loyal to those who have earned his friendship. The only thing that can really rattle his composure is a threat to his cassette creations.

NightbirdNinja"I am Ninja. I am Decepticon. I am shadow given form. I am Nightbird." |
Nightbird is a highly complex and mysterious Decepticon. Originally in the hands of the human Dr. Fujiyama, she was rescued by the Decepticons and later joined them. Although she does not transform or fly, her other abilities more than compensate. She is naturally invisible to sensors and carries an enormous array of weaponry and devices. She wields twin energy swords capable of cutting heavy armor or stunning a large-sized opponant. She carries razor-sharp shuriken which she can hurl with pinpoint accuracy, and a variety of other weaponry. She is proficient in several styles of unarmed combat which she combines into a deadly art form. In person Nightbird exhibits a quiet and reserved demeanor most of the time. Her moods and motivations are often difficult to guess, but she always exhibits a firm commitment to the Decepticon cause and her teammates. When speaking, her voice resonates with an almost musical symphony of whispers and echos.

SkywarpWarrior"Strike when the enemy isn't looking." |
Skywarp is a classic Decepticon air warrior - swift and deadly, quick to follow orders, highly-trained and efficient in flight formation, and during off-duty moments having an element of the blustering bravado so common to those who consider themselves the elite air guard. His desires in life are for unlimited flight, the chance to revel in a battle victory, the camaraderie of his fellow flyers, in particular his best friend Thundercracker - though he is not much of a deep thinker, nor is he practiced in a great deal of empathy or consideration for those who cannot match his skills. He is one of the thousands upon thousands of flyers who make up the Decepticons' aerial superiority, without whose dedication and obedience the Decepticon cause would grind to a halt - someone who thoroughly enjoys his role in the world and has no real aspirations of moving beyond it. Skywarp does have one ability that makes him unique above all others, however: he can instantly teleport up to 2.5 miles, and uses this ability to appear out of nowhere to attack enemies during critical missions. This is, however, an energy-intensive maneuver that is prone to occasional mishaps. Flies at 1520 mph, and carries heat-seeking missiles and variable-calibre machine guns with which to rain destruction from above.

ThundercrackerWarrior"Duty's a privilege and an obligation." |
Thundercracker is the epitome of loyalty in mind and heart, a rank-and-file warrior who sees beyond his daily duties to an awareness of the bigger picture. More compassionate and insightful than his best friend Skywarp, his steady common-sense outlook and personable nature make him well-liked in the Decepticon ranks; he is often the peacemaker among the flyers when tempers get out of hand. He sometimes grows weary of the war upon seeing so many of his companions fall - but this just redoubles his dedication to an eventual Decepticon victory. His place is at his comrades' side, a thing he can never forget, and he would shirk no duty or danger to do his part for the cause. He earns his name from the production of controlled sonic waves from harmonic emitters in his engine array, which create localized areas of immense air density, resulting in deafening sonic booms well below sonic speeds. Flies at 1520 mph, and is equipped with powerful drone rockets and incendiary guns. Can hold his own in ground-based combat better than the average flyer, and does not suffer the claustrophobia in close quarters that is common to many specialized air warriors.

ReflectorReconnaissance"See and you can know, know and you can triumph." |
An alert and observant individual who's fascinated by the world around him: topography, architecture, vegetation, enemy activity, the comings and goings in his own camp. Works equally well on independent missions or in a group, as he's helpful, efficient, and generally pleasant company - though he's no doormat and will stand up for himself when faced with the bluster of his larger team-mates. He's well aware of his own abilities and will rightfully express pride in them. Reflector was created at DeceptiTech Laboratories under Soundwave's supervision, as a precursor to Decepticon combiner technology. To this day he remains unique as a single mind in three identical bodies, smoothly integrating three sets of sensory inputs, giving him triple the observational power. The drawback is that those three bodies must operate within a certain pre-specified distance from one another, or risk fraying and snapping the coherence of his mind. All three parts speak in unison, and all refer to themselves in the first person singular, an effect that can be a little unnerving to a Transformer not familiar with it. His highly-developed infra-red vision can record images in darkness, through camouflage, and at great distances. When his three robot forms combine into camera mode, he can emit a powerful flash explosion that leaves an enemy blind and disorientated for up to 15 seconds.

RavageSpy and Saboteur"I stalk my prey through sensory realms beyond your most vivid imagination." |
Ravage is a solitary creature of the night who is adept at entering enemy territory undetected, gathering information or destroying key items, and vanishing again without a trace. Packed with highly-tuned sensors and recording equipment, Ravage is a watcher, a lurker, a listener, who seldom goes off alert-status. He remains aloof from most other Decepticons, but his deeds command their respect. As the oldest of Soundwave's creations, he does tend to keep watch over his younger and more impulsive siblings, but in a way that is neither offensive to them, nor obvious to anyone else. He also tends to be more easily included in Soundwave's confidences than the others, as Soundwave sees him more nearly as an equal than as an offspring. When he so desires, Ravage can virtually escape detection by melting into the shadows. His walk is soundless, and he is additionally outfitted with an electromagnetic emission shield that makes him indetectable to most sensors. He carries 2 powerful proton bombs, and often uses his claws and teeth to tear into an enemy. He is light-sensitive and can be blinded by a sudden burst of illumination.
![]() |
LaserbeakInfiltration and Interrogation"Courage wears many guises, not all of them immediately obvious." |
Laserbeak takes pleasure in hunting his prey - usually the straggling survivors of a battle. He's not the bravest in a combat situation, and will dart for safety if threatened, though on solitary missions he is self-reliant and often infiltrates dangerous enemy territory to bring back valuable information. In addition he has studied the art of interrogation and enjoys the chance to put his research into practice, making him an important contributor to the team. He uses two independently targetable laser cannons with extreme precision to get information from captives. Flies at speeds of up to 250 mph.
![]() |
BuzzsawWarrior"Do it *right* or don't even bother." |
A reconnaissance expert with a certain artistic flair, he approaches each new mission as though working on a new masterpiece. His perfectionism and large ego often cause him to sulk rather than proceed if his plans go astray, and Soundwave occasionally has to coax him back into the fray. When not out on specific search missions, he spends a good deal of his time flying border patrols to make sure the perimeter of Decepticon territory is secure. Due to the telepathic link he shares with Soundwave, he can instantly convey any vital information without risking the interception of a standard radio transmission. He can pinpoint and photograph a thumbtack at 20 miles, fly at 250 mph soundlessly, and defend himself with a set of twin mortar cannons. His diamond-hard, micro-serrated beak can carve up almost any opponent.

RumbleDemolitions"The bigger they are, the better they fall." |
Rumble is small, but always acting tough, putting on a "street punk" demeanor in the presence of the bigger Decepticons whom he admires, particularly Megatron and Soundwave. He follows orders eagerly and without complaint. Although not much older than Frenzy, he is the "big brother" of the two, the one that Frenzy looks up to and tries to emulate. Has a quick temper and mean disposition toward enemies. He can use a set of pile drivers to transmit immense low-frequency groundwaves to create powerful earthquakes. His small size limits his physical strength, but his ability to shatter the ground makes him difficult to approach in a fight.
![]() |
FrenzyWarrior"No risk is too great, no odds are too high." |
Frenzy's enthusiasm for battle and sometimes thoughtless courage often lead him to attack enemies who have him outmatched - but the bold attacks from someone so small, are often enough to throw opponents off guard. The other Decepticons sometimes see him as a bit of a nuisance underfoot, a tag-along, but they appreciate his devotion to the cause and to his creator, siblings, and leader, as well as his generally cheerful and friendly nature off the battlefield. Frenzy can produce high-pitched grating sounds of 200 db, which disorient and disrupt the electrical flow in an opponent's circuitry, making them malfunction. Due to his small size, he lacks physical strength, and his manic attacks can be countered with cool logic. As he is one of the younger tapes, Soundwave or Ravage tend to keep a surreptitious optic on him to insure that his overconfidence doesn't get him in too much trouble.
![]() |
ThrustAir Warrior"My engines' roar is my enemies' song of doom!" |
Thrust believes that half the battle is won if his opponents are "psyched out" by his mere arrival, so he makes no attempt to be sneaky - he rattles the very air with the sound of his jets. His sudden, powerful accelerations can shake apart nearby buildings. By the same token he tries psychological intimidation by putting on the act of a pompous, loud-mouthed braggart - but if someone should see through his bluff, he's actually not that brave. His war stories always sound more impressive than his real experiences, in his eternal quest to gain popularity among his comrades. He flies at Mach 2.5, but can double that speed in 20 seconds for up to 2 minutes. He carries four air-to- air missiles and 2 automatic missile launchers.
![]() |
DirgeAir Warrior"Fear is the element that unites all losers." |
Dirge can modulate his engines so that their sound causes petrifying fear in those who hear them, and he's a master at utilizing this technique against his opponents. However, he needs to feel as though he's in control of the situation and the enemy isn't getting the upper hand, or else he too falls victim to fear, making him useless as a warrior. Dirge keeps most of his thoughts to himself and focuses largely on the dark, pessimistic side of life. He quite deliberately cultivates the image of an individual who seems more dire and sinister than perhaps he really is. Other Decepticons tend to be put off by his mournful, silent ways, and his unwillingness to spend time in their company. Aside from his sonic weaponry, he carries two concussion missiles.
![]() |
RamjetAir Warrior"Scattered pieces pose no danger." |
True to his name, mid-air collisions are Ramjet's specialty. It makes little difference if the target is an enemy Autobot or an inanimate object - he'll crash into it just for fun. He revels in his ability to withstand damage, and this makes him a terrifyingly effective air warrior. But sometimes he takes it too far; too many crashes can injure him, especially internal mechanics. In sharp contrast to his love of wild uncontrolled flight, Ramjet actually has a strong sense of responsibility, and his reckless act drops immediately when there's a serious situation at hand. At such times Ramjet almost unconsciously takes charge of those nearby, and works toward everyone's safety and success. Just as he doesn't seem to realize he does this, and has no apparent aspirations toward the upper ranks, so his comrades quite naturally tend to defer to him without giving it much further thought. Ramjet is in fact a young flyer with a good deal of leadership potential, if only he were to realize it. His nose module can withstand impact with 3-foot-thick concrete at 1500 mph. He flies as fast as Mach 2.8, and carries 2 cluster bombs.

AstrotrainMilitary Transport"In confusion there is opportunity." |
Astrotrain expertly uses his status as one of the first triple-changers to create confusion among his enemies. He can switch from robot to train to space shuttle almost instantaneously, and thrives on his foes' panic and fear - they often don't know if they're dealing with one opponent, or three. Furthermore, he often brings a whole group of Decepticon warriors with him. As a shuttle he has faster-than-light capability, launches weapons and satellites, and carries cargo. As a train he has a top speed of 400 mph, though is somewhat limited by needing a suitable surface upon which to drive. As a robot, Astrotrain has great strength, and carries an ionic displacer rifle. He has a bit of an arrogant streak, but he would never give less than his utmost effort for the sake of his faction.

BlitzwingGround and Air Commando"Caution is for cowards - and losers!" |
Blitzwing's ability to transform rapidly into his three modes, makes him one of the most effective Decepticon warriors. Like Astrotrain he uses this ability to evoke confusion in his foes, but being one of the first triple-changers, he sometimes gets stuck in mid-transformation, where he is especially vulnerable. Belligerant and brash, Blitzwing has a cruel sense of humor toward his enemies, but generally gets along well with his fellow Decepticons, and even has his contemplative moments. As a plane, he flies at Mach 2.7 and carries heat-seeking concussion missiles. As a tank, he has a track-mounted cannon that fires explosive shells up to 3.5 miles. As a robot, he carries an electro-scimitar and a gyro-blaster rifle.

ScrapperConstruction Engineer/Constructicon Leader"My work is a monument to - and of - my enemies." |
An engineer of unparalleled skill, and a brilliant scientist. Cool-headed and calm under fire. A genius in his development of fortifications and power production facilities. Rebuilt Polyhex from ashes and helped to reconstruct much of the planet Cybertron. A student of archaeology, possesses an immense database of architectural and archaeological information, which he uses to help in his projects. Sometimes goes into fits of blind rage and incorporates the bodies of his slain enemies into his monuments - leading some to suspect that he may possess a dual personality, of sorts. Dislikes the brutal methods of his contemporary commanders, but prefers not to interfere, modesty being the better part of valour. Shovel can slice through 12 inches of thick carbon steel, lift 30 tons. Can fly 100 MPH with addition of levitation wing. Uses laser pistol. Slow flier. Shovel prone to stress fractures. As right leg module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form the giant robot Devastator.

HookSurgical Engineer"Strive for perfection at any cost." |
With the precision of a fine jeweler, Hook performs his job with skill unequalled among the Transformers, whether reconnecting a damaged microchip or setting a two-ton girder into place. One of the most highly skilled surgeons on Cybertron, he has pulled many a Decepticon back from the brink of death, but shuns a more personal involvement with the welfare of his patients. A snobbish, supercilious, unpopular perfectionist, he is in truth more comfortable working with inanimate objects, and as a crane he can lift 20 tons, with an error tolerance less than .00001 in positioning objects. Armed with a rocket launcher and laser pistol. As shoulders and head module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form the giant robot Devastator.

Long HaulHeavy Transport"An army of a hundred well-equipped soldiers will always defeat a starving army twice its size." |
Unhappy with the less than glorious role he fills, though he is conscious of the vital importance thereof. Secretly longs to be a warrior. An expert at coordinating supply lines and keeping them running smoothly, Scrapper calls upon his skills to ensure a consistent flow of supplies to the front. Willing to sacrifice himself to save the convoys he commands, and this sometimes gets him into trouble. In vehicle mode, can carry 90 tons for 1200 miles, uses a dual heat-seeking missile mount. Amazing endurance, willing to carry great burdens for the greater good of his fellows. As torso module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form the giant robot Devastator.

MixmasterMaterials Fabrication"Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble!" |
Mixmaster is a genius at creating new materials out of a combination of anything available - whether it's inanimate rock or living Autobot. Performs his sometimes grisly tasks with a malevolent glee and zealous delight - everything from building a city to melting down his enemies. Uses acids and bonding agents to reduce and recombine almost anything inside his mixing drum .. a chemistry lab on wheels. His eccentric and somewhat frightening behavior is a useful tool, confusing enemies and causing them to overlook his extreme competence. Forms left leg module of giant robot Devastator.

BonecrusherDemolitions"Crush the enemy to dust!" |
Bonecrusher is tough, both on and off the battlefield. He takes great pleasure in demolishing surrounding buildings during combat - a rubble-strewn wasteland after a battle is his idea of a beautiful landscape. His uncontrolled attacks create fear and terror among his enemies, though in his enthusiasm he will sometimes collapse structures on top of himself too. Having a near-invulnerable titanium-steel hide, he can usually dig his way out of such calamities unscathed. As a vehicle, moves at 30 mph and can exert 800,000 psi to clear the way for the rest of his team. Carries a laser pistol in robot mode, and can use a short-range concussion-bomb launcher in both forms. As left arm module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form the giant robot Devastator.

ScavengerMining & Salvage"One mech's trash is another mech's treasure." |
Desperately tries to prove his worth, despite reassurance by Scrapper than he plays a vital role. Constantly tools around in scrapheaps and battlefields looking for useful tidbits, like an enthusiastic kidlet with a sandbucket at the beach. Simpleminded innocence sometimes gets him into trouble. Useful to the cause, despite these drawbacks, because of his sensory package - capable of detecting with a variety of magnetic, ionic, electrical, and gas sensors and finding useful caches of fuel and material. Combines with fellow Constructicons to form the giant robot Devastator.

DevastatorWarrior"Mine is not to wonder why." |
A terrifying construct. The grand embodiment of many an Autobot's nightmare given steel! Towering, a mechanoid of pure brutality and utter mercilessness. The combined bodies and personalities of the six Constructicons, he gains insight from their shared skills and experiences, but suffers gravely from their competing consciousness. The first truly successful gestalt, he is a marvel of modern Cybertronian technology, but suffers from the same weaknesses as most prototypes - designed to do too many things, and as a result does none of them particularly well. A being of immense power and a weapon of great capacity when his strengths and weaknesses are properly directed. Carries a 10,000 degree solar energy beam rifle, capable of destroying cities with a thought. Slow, somewhat awkward, and not at all bright.

ShrapnelElectronic Warfare/Insecticon Leader"We take care of our own - clones devour the rest." |
As the closest thing to a leader for the Insecticon subgroup, Shrapnel feels it is his task to keep his team-mates from being short-changed in the course of the grand Decepticon dream. This makes him a bit of a mercenary - he tends to be openly suspicious and mistrustful of the other Decepticons. Though he will commit his Insecticons to battle for the greater good of the cause when necessary - or when he's assured of a considerable reward for his participation that will also benefit his own troops. Shrapnel is a fierce warrior who revels in the screams of stricken foes, attacking with a grenade launcher that shoots 30-pound steel balls that splinter into razor-sharp spikes. His trademark weapon, however, is control of electricity, which crackles about him like a corona in battle. He can control almost any electrical device within a limited range, can interfere with communications equipment nearby, and can attract lightning bolts to his antennae and shoot them from his hands. Insulation, such as rubber tires, can shield his foes from his electric blasts. Shrapnel has one other unique ability: given enough energy, he can create perfect clones of his Insecticons who serve as drone warriors and gatherers of fuel. While mindless and easily destroyed, they often give him an edge by sheer force of numbers.

BombshellPsychological Warfare"The mind is my battlefield." |
Bombshell is fascinated by the conscious and subconscious drives that shape the personalities of those around him - and how those drives might be subtley manipulated. Though he is not physically powerful, he likes the idea of having power over others from behind the scenes - thus his development of the Cerebro-Shells, cybernetic implants which he can fire into the cerebral circuitry of other Transformers. These implants can shut down the higher-level brain functions of a victim and control their words and movements from afar. But beyond a mere quest for personal validation, there is a very basic curiousity at work with Bombshell: what makes others tick? How are individuals structured, both physically and psychologically - and how might one best take them apart and put them back together? Are their quirks due to Nature or Nurture? His highly observant mind is always on the lookout for more data to process, and he can be just as happy quietly observing an interaction among Decepticons, as in turning an Autobot into a helpless accomplice. In robot mode, he wears a head-mounted mortar that throws explosive shells; in insect mode, he attacks with slashing mouthparts that can tear through the sturdiest armor plate.

KickbackWarrior/Special Operative"Be careful what you wish for. You may get it." |
Kickback was in times past an infiltrator of enemy bases. Today he infiltrates the innermost secrets of his comrades. He is one of the elements that smoothes relations behind the scenes, between the somewhat isolationist Insecticons and the other Decepticons, as well as between the Decepticon warriors themselves - one who keeps watch on the general sentiment in the ranks at the behest of the high command, and returns the information to those who can utilize it. Only the upper echelons are aware of his true function; to everyone else, he's just an undistinguished warrior and gatherer of fuel. Possessed of a charming nature, he easily wins friends and hears out their confidences, drawing upon Bombshell's knowledge to form his own psychological interpretations. Despite his friendly manner and the ease with which he gets others to talk about themselves, he is highly reluctant to reveal anything about himself, and in fact is very mistrustful of almost everyone except his fellow Insecticons. But even among them he leads a double life, and there are mistakes in his past which he would like to keep buried. In grasshopper mode, he can cover ground in tremendous leaps, and can kick a hole in the most solid steel armor plate. In robot mode, he attacks with a sub-machine gun that fires 300 rounds per minute. Physically he is not that powerful or well-armored.

GrimlockDinobot Leader"Among the winners, there is no room for the weak." |
Grimlock is the most fearsome and powerful Dinobot. Though originally built in the Autobot ranks, he so resented his dismissive treatment at their hands, and was so philosophically incompatible with their cause, that he saw the light and offered his allegiance to the Decepticons. He is a merciless but valiant warrior, harboring contempt for the weak, including the humans for whom the Autobots would have asked him to risk his life. Instead, he now fights for those who have earned his loyalty, valuing both raw physical power as well as innate command charisma in a true leader. He has tremendous strength, immensely durable armor, and his steel-trap jaws can break almost anything in two. In robot mode, he carries an energo-sword and galaxial rocket launcher. Other than a certain arrogance born of his own strength, a relative lack of speed, and somewhat of a culture gap between himself and his fellow Decepticons, he has no significant weaknesses.

SlagFlamethrower"Only in battle is there happiness." |
Slag is enormously strong, disruptive, and just plain hostile, and often brawls with his comrades. Though he dislikes authority, his respect for Dinobot leader Grimlock (and in turn, Grimlock’s respect for Megatron) usually keeps him under control. Slag loves nothing better than to wade into a good battle, and will reward with grudging loyalty those who offer him the chance to fully vent his primordial rage. His mouth shoots 3000 degrees Celsius flames up to 80 feet, and he enjoys melting enemies into pools of liquid metal. In robot mode he uses an electron blaster. He isn't too bright and likes shattering brick buildings with his head, sometimes causing self-inflicted injury.

SludgeJungle Warrior"Follow strongest leader, always." |
In battle, Sludge is a terrifying and unstoppable juggernaut. He has immense strength and endurance, and likes to make his presence known - not that the huge, clumsy Dinobot has much hope of being stealthy anyway. He is a true "thunder lizard," shaking the very earth with his footfalls. A determined stomp can be heard and felt in a 3-mile radius. Unlike his prehistoric alt-mode namesake, he is adept at fighting in water, swamp, and jungle environments. His personal nature, however, is gentle and shy, with an inherent childlike trust in those who carry themselves with the aura of command. Not particularly bright, he feels most secure when others do the thinking and direct his actions accordingly.

MotormasterStunticon Leader"These wheels are made for crushing!" |
A rolling terror of the highways, Motormaster's style is bold and brash - whether roaring along in truck mode, or slashing his way through the opposition in robot mode. That which does not scatter out of his way, is flattened without mercy. This powerful Stunticon commander leads his warriors with much shouting and bluster, and yet underneath all the rough edges, there's a Decepticon of sincere dedication and loyalty, who would lay down his life for his team or for his leader. There is no pretense or duplicity about Motormaster - he experiences each moment to its fullest, and is unabashedly direct about his likes and dislikes. He considers the roads of Earth his rightful domain, and one of his fondest dreams is to personally destroy Optimus Prime - to prove, once and for all, that he is undisputed "King of the Road." He can survive a collision with almost any vehicle or obstacle, reaches a top speed of 140mph, and can shatter a 20-foot concrete block. Uses a powerful sword and a cyclone gun that produces 400mph winds. Combines with his fellow Stunticons to form Menasor.

Drag StripWarrior"The first one to cross the finish line LIVES." |
Drag Strip does nothing by half-measures. Everything is a question of win-or-lose to him - he must be the first one in line, the first into combat, the fastest, the best, the most fearless. Likewise, his loyalties are complete: he "lives to obey," as he says, and follows every order of Motormaster's or Megatron's with total enthusiasm and dedication. His loathing for the Autobots is equally intense. When he achieves a victory, he loves to recount it and gloat over it, entirely unaware that others may find his behavior offensive. Should he feel that someone else got the better of him, he becomes even more intolerable, reacting with snide and snappish remarks to those around him, until a harsh word from his leaders brings him back to decorum. His behavior stems from thoughtless self-centeredness rather than the deliberate desire to be obnoxious - he simply has little awareness of how others feel unless he's forcefully brought to the realization. He's happiest when he's tearing along the roads and causing havoc, thoroughly enjoying himself. In car mode, he uses a plasma-energy blaster, and in robot mode he carries a gravity-enhancing gravito-gun. His constant high level of energy makes him prone to overheating. Combines with fellow Stunticons to form Menasor.

Dead EndWarrior"We cannot escape our fate - but perhaps we can modify the details." |
Dead End is thoughtful and introspective, even philosophical in his way. In considering the big picture of the Cybertronian wars, and the likely fate of so many who take part in them, he slips sometimes into a sullen fatalism. If one is likely to give one's life for the Decepticon cause, he reasons, then it should cost the enemy a great deal, it should come at precisely the right moment to do the most good - and so motivating him to fight at any given time is sometimes a problem. He seems intent on making a particular statement, when it comes to be his time; he "wants to leave a pretty corpse," as some of his team-mates tease him, as he spends so much of his time shining and polishing himself. But this activity gives him time to reflect, and he finds it meditative. As the most abstract thinker of the team, he often strays into areas of interest that the others do not share - and yet, he's always pleased to take part in demolition derbies and highway terror. Paradoxically, his closest friend on the team is the diametrically opposite Wildrider, who effectively counterbalances Dead End's dark musings. In car mode, Dead End can drive 220mph, and his radar scan covers a 200 mile radius. In robot mode, he uses a compressor-air gun that shoots a 40,000 psi blast of air. Combines with fellow Stunticons to form Menasor.

WildriderWarrior/Demolitions"Either you're out of my way, or you're out of luck!" |
The most reckless of a team of reckless drivers, Wildrider exults in leaving a trail of disaster behind him. He enjoys causing accidents and chaos so much that he tears down the roads screaming and laughing in delight. Some of his comrades think it's an act to terrify those around him, to more effectively scatter those that would interfere with Decepticon activities - but his closest team-mates know he really does love his work that much. In fact, if you asked him, he'd say he's not even working - he's just living his life and having fun. He gets nervous when things are too quiet - he's simply not comfortable in such an unfamiliar situation. None the less, he often teams up with the philosophical and contemplative Dead End, having formed an unlikely friendship of opposite extremes. In car mode, he drives up to 250mph with amazing maneuverability, though his crazed driving makes him prone to tire blow-outs. In robot mode, his scattershot gun sprays laser beams over wide areas. Combines with fellow Stunticons to form Menasor.

BreakdownWarrior/Scout"When you watch the world, it watches back." |
Breakdown is a confident and uninhibited Stunticon when he's in the midst of terrorizing the roadways with the rest of his team - but let the activity slow down a little, or worse yet, get him off by himself and away from the group, and he becomes self-conscious and agitated. Feels that he is the constant object of scrutiny as an alien on an alien world, and the ongoing tension makes him prone to internal problems such as a leaky fuel pump. Precisely because he is so hyper-aware of everything around him, though, he is often given the task of scouting ahead and reporting the lay of the land. In car mode, his engine can emit vibrations that cause mechanical failure in other vehicles, but this does little to enhance his own sense of well-being. In robot mode, he carries a concussion rifle which also causes mechanical failures. Combines with fellow Stunticons to form Menasor.

MenasorSuper Warrior"Leave no Autobot uncrushed." |
A clanking, crushing terror who destroys all in his path, Menasor represents the combined might of Motormaster, Breakdown, Dead End, Drag Strip, and Wildrider. The distinct, individualistic personalities of the five Stunticons meld only with difficulty into a single mind, despite their excellent sense of teamwork and improved technology over Devastator - and so Menasor is sometimes confused by conflicting impulses. When presented with a target for destruction, however, he acts with single-minded focus. He can be slow and awkward, but his immense size and power make him an ultimate weapon to be reckoned with. His powerful armor integrity units render him impervious to most weaponry, and his punches can rend even the strongest Cybertronian alloy. He uses a larger version of Motormaster’s cyclone gun and carries an ionizer sword capable of delivering a massive electrical charge.

OnslaughtCombaticon Leader"The mind is the greatest weapon." |
Despite Onslaught's considerable firepower, he maintains that the true deciding factor in victory is the planning and forethought that goes into a battle before the first shot is even fired. He prefers devising battle plans to actually carrying them out - he wants to direct others to follow his perfectly orchestrated combat scenarios - but once stirred into action, he is a relentless, furious fighter. His incisive intelligence as well as his fighting abilities make him an inspiring command figure. In robot mode, he uses a powerful sonic stun gun, and as a missile trailer, he is capable of launching 6500-mile range photon missiles, each equivalent to 3000 tons of TNT. Missile accuracy can be hampered by electromagnetic interference. Onslaught combines with his fellow Combaticons to form the super warrior Bruticus.

Blast OffSpace Warrior"I destroy Autobots by choice, not by command." |
Blast Off feels literally and figuratively above the other Transformers as he soars through outer space, often on long solitary missions. His aristocratic and aloof manner is an adept disguise for his long-distance loneliness - in truth he'd much rather be amongst the other Decepticons, but would never admit to it. His spaceworthy mode makes him the ideal choice to rain destruction on enemy targets from orbit, and he can circle a planet or travel the cosmos for as long as 8 months without having to refuel. He shoots a powerful X-ray laser to hit targets 12,000 miles away. In robot mode, he uses an ionic blaster with similar precision. Blast Off combines with his fellow Combaticons to form the super warrior Bruticus.

BrawlGround Assault"I was built to be wild!" |
Brawl loves a good fight. He is noisy, blustery, and belligerent, and tends to irritate everyone nearby. He is also enormously strong and resistant to most conventional artillery, and these traits make him an exceptionally effective ground assault fighter. His rather low intelligence lets other Decepticons focus his firepower toward the intended targets fairly easily. As a tank, he fires shells with the impact of 200 lbs of TNT. His twin sonic cannon shoots powerful, ear-splitting 300-decibel bursts of concentrated sound energy in stereo. In robot mode, he carries a 10 megawatt electron gun. Brawl combines with his fellow Combaticons to form the super warrior Bruticus.

SwindleMunitions Expert"Make deals, not war." |
Swindle is easy-going and good-natured, but within him beats the fuel pump of the most greed-driven street hustler. He thrives on wheeling and dealing, showing less interest in outright combat. Whenever he can sneak time away from his duties to the Decepticon empire, he works for his own personal material advancement. He has been called a one-robot "black market". He uses a scatter blaster that sprays explosive pellets, and a gyro gun that disrupts Transformers' balance centers. In vehicle mode he is prone to overturning on sharp curves. Swindle combines with his fellow Combaticons to form the super warrior Bruticus.

VortexInterrogation"Know your enemy ... from the inside out!" |
Vortex has perfected a unique method of interrogation - he snatches up an enemy from the ground, takes them on dizzying, death-defying flights, and, after the terrified passenger has divulged all their top-secret information, he sends them crashing back down to earth. In robot mode he has additional means of coaxing secrets out of a captured and helpless enemy, a task in which he takes great delight. Fires a semi-automatic glue gun to immobilize his targets for further "discussion." His rotor blades can create a wind funnel powerful enough to lift trains off their tracks. Vortex combines with his fellow Combaticons to form the super warrior Bruticus.

BruticusSuper Warrior"The road to conquest is paved with Autobot wrecks." |
Bruticus is the huge and terrifying combination of the five Combaticons: Onslaught, Blast Off, Brawl, Swindle, and Vortex. Though he is a smoothly-functioning unity of the five individual Combaticon personalities, the limitations of the combiner process still render him with a simplified and mostly instinct-driven mind. When on a rampage he is unstoppable, shattering all in his path. He can smash metal bridges with a single chop of his hand, and destroys enemies with his missile cannon and a larger version of Onslaught's sonic stun gun.
